This^ Also, some apps have a web installer that downloads the setup file and runs it. If you look in the proper temp folder you will find the setup file for offline installations. I save those on any app that uses a web installer.

My go-to's range anywhere between "It's not me, it's you" and "Leave me alone, you suck." Of course what sells these is to say them with a completely calm voice(read: NOT emotional in any way), looking them in the face.
Actually I agree with you on that. Arch is boss when it comes to rolling your own super lightweight setup. I suggest the debian method for noobs, because most new linux users find the .deb or .rpm based distros to be easier to work with.
It can also make you pass out...
Ahhh yes I see your point. I have never used playon.. I was just listing the few methods off the top of my head that are available.
Insert "Don't knock it till you try it" joke here...
Chaneru, Roksbox, PlayOn, etc, etc...
The last I read, USB 3 had a real world speed of 3.2Gbps, so thats still faster than sata2. Also, usb3 is full duplex, as in it can upload and download simultaneously, while usb2 was only half duplex.
USB 2.0 is not as fast as it is designed to be because it uses CPU processing power to perform the work, so there is a lot of overhead that must be dealt with. This is why USB 2.0(480Mbps) is usually slower then Firewire 400(400Mbps). Firewire and Thunderbolt don't use the CPU to handle the load. I am not sure what…
I always found it interesting how some people describe it as worst, while other people with the very same setup argue that is the best. I wonder what the difference maker is.
Software is gone now. They have created MagicJack Plus, which works the same way the Duo does, in that you can hook it directly to your router.
I would start by referring to my workspace as a "psychological Dachau", and throw my right hand straight out front at an upward angle to wave when the boss passes by.
That's really smart! I had actually never thought of that. Will be putting that to use from now on.
All my linux installs were done the same way. Debian server netinstall, with all options unchecked. This installs a VERY basic OS that rings in at under a gig. After that all I have to do is edit sources.list to my liking, and then "apt-get update", "apt-get install lxde lxdm".
Mac does this for every letter that has an alternate symbol, whether it is a vowel or not.
As a pagan, this is the second strangest post I've read here. Right after the one with the guy having sex with a couch.
Totally useless for witness statements. Power of suggestion, and false memory creation are FAR to common.
LMAO! Upon reading this comment, I thought to myself, "WHAT bag???", and had to scroll back up.
I used to have an MSI Wind U100. Those babies had automatic overclocking baked right into the factory BIOS. Up to 24% speed increase, I loved that little machine.
How about the fact that with nothing more than the OS X install disk, you can enable the root account and change passwords?
