Great points! I think in most cases, a lack of diversity is because those in hiring positions simply don’t think about it. They hire people they’ve worked with before, people recommended by colleagues and friends, and you know that sneaky nepotism that pops up every now and again. That leads to exclusion. They look

“ It really shouldn’t be hard for Hollywood productions to simply hire a broad range of people, and yet, it is.”

All of those people rooting for them to fail after they left an environment of constant bullying both from outside and within their own families currently annoyed that they are finding ways to succeed.

I mean. Let us not do the far-right’s job for them. I really think of all the choices, she is the best one. After Nov 3 we can do all the think pieces we want. Then in 2024 we can talk about what they need to do to improve but until then...shush. (I mean shush in the nicest possible way.)

I am not in a bad mood and this annoyed me as well. This is not the time to look for the absolutely perfect candidate. This is near-literal do or die time.

It’s okay. We won’t let Kinja win either. :-)

Please don’t feel bad about yourself. You are doing as well as you can, when you can. Feel bad about this op who seems to lack empathy. It must make it difficult for the people around them.

I believe his mom was the only person he has ever fully trusted no matter his current state of mind. She could tell him what was and was not real and he would believe her. It’s so sad that he lost that suddenly and without a caring replacement.

My 95-year old grandfather tested positive for the virus last week and this story gives me a lot more hope than I had before. I wish all the best for Ms. Burke.

I don’t get the blanket outrage for people being landlords. Are they good landlords? Do they take care of the property? Do they offer reasonable rental rates comparable to similar properties? Do they keep rent increases limited? Then what’s the problem with making an investment that provides a decent place to live?

I don’t have any kids.

Responding to everyone that replied. It is entirely possible to dislike a MIL without being disrespectful. I had a rather difficult MIL in my past and I found a way to be respectful and create boundaries. I didn’t particularly care for Madison, Hannah Ann, or even Barbara but this complete trashing of Barb is unkind

I was so annoyed at how Becky Twitter talked absolute garbage about Barb last night. She’s a bit over emotional but she’s sincere and Madison is a little twit that needs to respect her elders. Especially a potential MIL.

Definitely both.

Oh, the tabs were definitely the problem but they did not get the support they could have from the RF. When hints of an affair popped up about W&K, they shut it down immediately. When Meghan was accused of genocide because she like avocado on toast, the Firm said nothing. I’m not saying they were mean to her on

Earlier this weekend I was (conspiracy) thinking that perhaps the royal stylists intentionally tried to diminish Meghan’s light by not offering her the best there is in clothes and now that’s she’s out she’s pulling out her best break-up outfits. I wish the RF had treated them better and I kind of hope they resolve

Insert “let people enjoy things meme” here. It wasn’t ground breaking or life changing but it was entertaining. My only complaints are that the reunion was last minute and it showed and that Lauren and Cameron were the clear features but were only used sparingly. Even with that it was fun to watch. Could Netflix have

I think it’s important to note that Pete lives in the basement of the house he bought for his mom, not just “his mom’s basement.”

I like that she’s 38. That alone may make it interesting but she by herself is not. Though she is way more likable than any of the current batch of women chasing after Peter. So, good call I guess.

I do too! Works about 45% of the time.
