Man, Gawker is doing EVERYTHING it can to discredit this leak in order to obfuscate the fact that there is some very uncomfortable information presented in these emails. Yes, there was some personal info inadvertently released and that’s terrible, but that was far from all that was released.

No. But then what could I possibly say to change your mind? I’m not going to tell someone else how to grieve. I also don’t think it’s fair to cast aspersions on a community that has dealt with a lot of tragedy and loss for not handling this loss in the way you think they should.

Why would they cancel the football game?

I can’t agree with you about how you think Oklahoma should grieve, but I appreciate that you care about the loss.

As a fellow Oklahomie, AGREED! If these people were at the parade, they would want the game to go on. I’m not into football, but my grandpa played for OU. That team got him his first ever paying job and bought him his first ever pair of shoes. It was in honor of the victims and the most healing thing they could do for

I can’t relate the scale of OSU homecoming, much less the social lynchpin football is in Oklahoma. Everybody unites for football. And yes, T. Boone Pickens Stadium is treated like a cathedral. Tiny town, massive stadium. In Oklahoma we congenitally cope with tragedy and misery by carrying on and helping each other,

Not here. They unite, like they do after tornadoes, or bombings of federal buildings, or bombings at football stadiums, and face it together as a family. Football is king here and Boone Pickens (or Memorial, in Norman) is its castle. Cancelling the game would be an atrocious idea for a lot of reasons.

Money and logistics. Don’t get me wrong, I wish they’d at least thought about postponing it, but it would have been a huge pain-in-the-ass to get everything moved around.

Whole lotta people who don’t know jack shit about Oklahoma Strong in this thread. I get it. Football is LIFE in Oklahoma, and OU and OSU are family first. It’s part of the healing process. This Sooner is thinking of her OSU family today.

I will never understand how stories like this happen. How do you not slam on the brakes when, I don’t know, you hit the first police barricade!? Did she mistake the gas for the brake? Being the driver in this type of accident is literally my worst nightmare, it haunts my dreams at least once a week.

Welp, it’s the biggest homecoming in the country, with 50k flooding the town last night, not to mention the tens of thousands of fans already at or headed to the stadium at the time of the crash. Given that OSU is no stranger to tragedy, I guess they thought they’d go ahead and do what they all gathered for, like

Already seeing the right wingers yelling “should we ban cars now too?”. I hate living in a red state so much. I can’t imagine the horror not only the families are dealing with but also the people that were around. So sad.

That's pretty awesome.
If I ever attempt to cosplay Frieza, I'd probably end up looking like this instead.

"More then 2hours and no tweet about all the shit weve [sic] done," one complained.

Part of enjoying sex is unlearning years of shame you are taught to feel about your body and your genitals. I had read this piece one by a bisexual man who said when asked what's the major difference between sleeping with women and sleeping with men and other than the obvious he said that women constantly apologize

Was waiting for someone to bring that up! Thanks. We're doing a lot of shopping from there as well.

He is so beta, he won't make any decisions or plans or take responsibility for anything. I find myself longing for an alpha man.

Really, it was never a food crisis. It was always a poverty crisis. Food prices go up and the rich shall continue to eat. The poor? Well—fuck 'em. It's not like any of them vote.
