It's really sad because, honestly, I think Metroid has been the more consistent series (Other M was... eh, but at least it wasn't stagnant like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword).

Man, Wind Waker is just so damn good! Definitely the best GameCube title, and easily one of Nintendo's finest games (it ties Link to the Past for best game in the franchise, imo).
Speaking of Miis, how about letting us *REALLY* customize the little bastards? It seems absolutely bewildering to me that I can't make a Mii with red/orange hair, despite being a natural (if rare) hair-color.
Shame to hear things are going so badly. I'll admit, I didn't really have a whole lot of fun with the gameplay, but the concept and settings were top-notch.
Eh, it's hard to get too upset. It's one thing to get knocked from random people on the internet, but another thing entirely when it's someone you actually know. I still prefer many aspects of D2 over D3 (though the upcoming patch may change some things), but it's still a very good, well-made game (save for some…
Dude Huge really nailed it.
I'm not 100% sure where they are, but I'll definitely shoot you a response when I find them. I have my fair share of old-school Pokemon loot, but the only ones that truly mean anything were the Dratini and Seal pushies from KFC, back in the day :P
Agreed; diversity is better for everyone. And really, that's kind of what I mean; even though I'm white, that doesn't mean I just instantly identify with every character "because he's white". So, if I'm not instantly attached to a character's appearance simply for being white, why not experiment?
Yeah, I've always found it unusual that it's called *red* hair, even though it's more of a golden-brown pigment. Either way, though, when you get called "redhead" long enough, you start to identify your hair as being red, and so it goes. Same reason I probably liked "Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta" from Dragon Ball GT so much.
Honestly man, I would hold a Parent-Teacher conference ASAP. Stealing from a teacher is low; low enough that their parents should be made aware ASAP.
Well, I actually wrote my own review of the service not too long ago. Seems strange timing, that. One thing I will always champion about OnLive, though, was its "Arena" feature. Seriously, being able to just jump into someone else's viewpoint, on-the-fly, is something that I think every single console-developer needs…
Ahh, that would've good a good choice!
What I was referring to, though, was more the fact that each item is unique. "Oh snap, I got the same weapon the Gargoyles were using against me! Sweet!", or "Finally, I got this rare piece of armor I've been grinding for". In Darksiders II, the weapons and armor are just completely and utterly meaningless, beyond…
Just throwing this out there; I *REALLY* wish their controller was supported as a true Gamepad, preferaly with Xbox 360 Controller-settings. I mean, it's got the exact same buttons, yet I can *ONLY* use it to play OnLive games?
Exactly. It's a shame they didn't follow they didn't tweak the Loot-system to at least make each individual piece of loot unique, since I do genuinely like having a bit of variety. But the moment you introduce "throwaway-loot", it just really goes downhill.
Eh, I know I'm probably in the minority on this one, but honestly? I'm not really digging the addition of a loot-system. It's probably due largely to my OCD, but between having sort of a mis-matched appearance, and never really having those *REALLY* exciting moments of upgrading your character (such as the Abyssal…
Agreed, Expansion Packs are really the best possible form of DLC. I also think getting New Characters is awesome, though, such as the case in Castlevania: Harmony of Despair.
Play the demo for MGS3 and get back to me... :P
You know, it may be a lot of PR, but it really is heartening to hear their stance on DLC. I'm already finding myself frustrated with Darksiders 2, an otherwise fantastic game that has way too much content regulated to Pre-order DLC, and as we've seen time and time again from Capcom, it can absolutely destroy a…
This is seriously the best post I've ever read regarding Other M. Every point is just totally dead-on... I sincerely hope some of the folks at Nintendo get a chance to read this, because I honestly couldn't have put it better myself, nor have I seen anyone else do it so well.
