Look, I'll not pretend I know anything about Anonymous, nor that I know anything about this woman. What I can say, however, is that this is unacceptable by any stretch of the imagination.

That's what makes it such a witty title!
Well, I missed out on these games before, but...
Agreed. I still play WoW, mind you, but there are definitely times I'm sick of it. Thing is, like you said, if I want to play a game like WoW, well... I would probably just play WoW.
Hah, clever idea, actually. I approve!
Agreed 100% with the article. It's really the reason I can't stand RPG's these days, despite being my favorite genre as a kid. A good game teaches you to play it, and gets progressively more complex over time, rather than hitting you with it all at once.
Not at all, I'm actually glad to have someone point this stuff out. I've always enjoyed writing, to a point I'm going to school for a Journalism degree, so it's really good to how these mistakes pointed out :)
You know, I don't know if it's "gay" or what, but... I would *KILL* to be that cut. Maybe I'm just not doing something right, but I can't seem to get this layer of "baby-fat" off, so I just don't look cut at all, despite actually being fairly muscular.
Hmm. Weird, but definitely interesting. Color me intrigued.
I wasn't aware that I used too many apostrophes, although I've definitely been accused of using too many commas before. I don't think any of them are used incorrectly, though; it's just the sentence-structure I use.
Ah, that's probably my fault on the wording, then. No, I was just referring to the gameplay and general structure of the game, being based around "Pick a Class, go to this zone until you're X level, then move on to that zone until Y level, etc".
I gotta say... I think I'll be happy either way.
Dear Konami,
True enough. All I know is, from what little information we *do* have, it seems like they're deconstructing the entire premise of exploration and discovery, which is was made Morrowind onwards so hugely popular. The groundwork they're laying seems to be paving the exact same street that The Old Republic ventured, in…
I think the traditional MMO-structure is just at-odds with why people embraced Morrowind and onwards. Being WoW-like isn't necessarily an issue, but you've got to bring something truly compelling to the table — something that not even BioWare could do with The Old Republic.
Thanks! Hopefully I won't be stuck here more than a month or so :)
I apologize for the poor grammar and typo's; writing is actually normally my strong suit, I guess I'm just over-tired to the point that I'm not paying attention (been in hospital past few weeks, not so good for sleeping, lol). Although, how do you do italics or bold on this site? I've never thought to ask anyone…
I would recommend checking out Game Informer's interviews with the Devs of ESO. They're talking about making each zone level-appropriate and the combat-UI "familiar to MMO players", as if they could be referring to any other game.
Yeah, I definitely enjoyed The Old Republic, but it just didn't seem to be developed with "multiplayer" in mind, until the Flashpoints. It had some really clever ideas, and I have no doubt that I'll return every few months to check out the new content, but all I was saying was that it clearly wasn't the raging success…
Actually... that's not true, on Housing I mean. I know that the Hlaalu Great House would build you a house (I want to say the city's name it was near was Balmorra?), and there was also another House you could acquire, either associated with another Great House or the Mage's guild (I can't remember which).
