Aye, it's not that I have any problems with DLC. In fact, I *LOVE* DLC, because it can often bring me back to a game I love after I've stopped playing it.
How about, for $60 bucks, you just give me the entire goddamn game?
Wow, didn't realize that. Carry on! :D
Oh, I actually love the Genesis games. But let's be honest, very few people were zooming through stages. Sonic could go fast, don't get me wrong, it it was always really cool to see those loop-de-loop segmets and see him speeding around after hitting a Boost-pad, but the real fun, for many, came from the platforming…
Obviously, they would never fully fall to Mario's ways, I just think they need to focus more on stages relying more on your *playing* them, rather than trying to react to split-second pitfalls, spikes, or nigh-unavoidable enemies.
I'm going to be completely honest here; I think they should quit trying to mimic the Genesis games. The simple fact is, if you didn't already know the layouts of those stages my heart, those games kind of suck. I'm just laying it on the table.
True, but there's no way to EV-train if you're level 100, right? If there is, then you can disregard everything I said. I just don't like the thought of having to "reroll" your favorite Pokemon to be competitive.
As far as the "Custom Gym" thing goes, I'm talking about it purely as an online experience. Trying to create a Gym with an interesting design, and getting a chance to try and form multiple "teams" of Pokemon, one for each of your Trainers, plus one for yourself.
The problem with EV'ing is that, if you aren't completely aware of it from the very beginning, and know exactly what strategy you want to focus on and what enemies you'll require to defeat to obtain that, and *ONLY* those enemies, you're basically screwed from competing competitively.
Well, I'll respond to your points kinda the same way, point by point :P
No doubt, they've been around since Day 1. Thing is, very few people were actually aware of them, I'd say until the Ruby/Sapphire generation. It wasn't so much that is *was* an issue, so much that it *could* be an issue, and eventually did become one.
Dear Nintendo and/or Game Freak,
I... honestly don't get this. I mean, I'll give them credit, they certainly went an unexpected route. Maybe it's just me, but was anyone else just hoping for one unified version for the 3DS?
I still can't believe people are willing to pay for this shit that is obviously on-disc and *meant* to be included in the full product. It's one thing to be uninformed, but if you ask me, disc-locked content really should be illegal, barring Pre-order or Collector's Edition content.
In fairness, let's not pretend that Capcom's Fighters are somehow perfectly balanced. In Marvel 3, they simply have enough loopholes for enough characters that no single character dominates, so many people foolishly call it "balanced". For Street Fighter, they're simply choose not to balance the game at all, unless a…
I AM SO GODDAMN PUMPED!!! Clap-trap dancing in harmony with actual music? YUSH!!!
Probably because Roland was normal, they probably wanted to have that "middle-ground" sort of character, since the others are so stylized.
Give us Zone of the Enders, please!!!
Worth mentioning, I can't help but laugh that they always use the amazing "Songs inspired by The Warriors" soundtrack in the trailers, but has the same crappy music we've forgotten how much we hate for years.
