I have but three requests for this game.

One thing I thought was hilarious; you see that badass animation he does at the end of the video? Where he starts walking backwards, then slowly turns, solidifying him as someone not-to-be-f'ed-with? Several NPC's also use that animation, and particularly when you see an overweight character do it, I crack up every…
So, Nintendo, how about putting those GODDAMN SNES GAMES ON THE 3DS' eSHOP?!?!?!
The problem is that in TOR, there's four options. All the armor in the world can't change that, and in a game so focused on Story, I find those four options are severely lacking. Body 1 looks like a kid, Body 3 is laughably huge, and Body 4 is massively overweight. So then, if you're someone who wants to have a…
They options aren't great, but they're incredibly varied. Even if all you could see is the silhouettes, you could instantly recognize each race. The same couldn't necessarily be said for TOR.
Sadly, no; I just think the Body-types are way too restrictive. Body 2 isn't bad, but the jump between 2 and 3 is just staggering; surely they could implement two or three Body-types in there, that are more muscular than 2 but not roid-pumping like 3?
WoW shipped with 8 Races, each having a different body-type, and now has 12. TOR is shipping with 4 body-types, and the playable species all look Human anyways.
I just hope they fix the HORRIBLE Character-Creation system. There's only a few days before launch, so it's unlikely, but if they really intend for this game to succeed, they'll do everything in their power to make it happen.
There's where I'm confused; it *kinda* sounds like he's retiring from Nintendo, and then... it kinda doesn't. I dunno?
I'm confused.... is he retiring from Nintendo, or just stepping down from his current position? If it's the latter, I'm 100% supportive; he seems very much like a hands-on sort of guy, and as evidenced by Inafune, creative types need to create, not manage.
Well, like I explained in follow-up posts after this initial one, my thinking was Mario pretty much knows what he's doing with his 2D and 3D games. So, just like Luigi branched off and made the stellar Luigi's Mansion, and even Peach starred in her own underappreciated game, why not trying doing something a little…
It's so adorable, right?
I completely agree, I don't like the new design for Yoshi. Even if it doesn't got *quite* back to his original, dinosaur-looking self, the current "baby-fied" Yoshi just isn't terribly compelling.
Yup, I even mentioned him in the comment (article?). :)
Yoshi's Island would work, definitely; I just always forget it was, you know, an island :P
I just REALLY want one of those Mario hats! Or maybe a Luigi hat or Link cap?
Hmm, well it's definitely very interesting to get more info about these guys. Kind of sad that, as interested in the workings of our government as I am, I really don't know much about the people behind it. Guess I spoke too soon before getting all the fact.
Hmm, touche'. I guess I just question sometimes whether people (in this case, politicians) are truly capable of fixing problems they've never actually been faced with.
That's nice to hear! Something as simple as a video game really can get you through hard times :)
Ya know, this guy seems to have gotten an awful lot of hate. I'm not saying I'd vote for him as President or anything, but even as weird as he is (no comment on allegations on his past), he seems a little more like a "normal person" than hardly anybody else vying for the position.
