What the hell did I just watch?
Are these "Should You Buy ?" segments meant to be a review-replacement? They're interesting in their own way, but it doesn't really hold as much weight in terms of a legitimate review. Shallow as it was, I still kinda miss the old style; an honest opinion of the experience playing it, and reflecting on what the author…
God, I miss have money more than ever now! *THIS* is a Collector's Edition I want! No "Exclusive Content" to cheapen it, just gorgeous, understated packing, an artbook, and the overlooked behind-the-scenes DVD.
Agreed 100%. I miss just buying games, and *unlocking* extra content by doing really crazy stuff.
Before anyone takes my comment the wrong way, I'm not saying the games aren't fun! But to market them as these great competitive experiences... I just think the boards can easily become very slanted and don't offer enough ways for players to communicate on friendly terms — at least right now. Maybe we'll see more…
I'm just gonna be honest here.
It's a sad day when Sega is paying more homage to their old-school fans than Capcom.
Leigh Alexander! Yay, I recognized a name!
No, it certainly isn't. But I think it's important that people don't freak out over stupid crap like this, either. I mean, nobody likes foul-language flying around, but it's pretty minor stuff in the grand scheme of things. This guy isn't anybody to anyone, not here anyways. If he were talking about gay people…
Haters gonna hate.
Well, I'll pretty much have to purchase the GOTY version whenever it eventually comes available, assuming it comes with all the DLC.
Seriously, I'll say it again; they need to get back to the first 151 Pokemon (and some hand-picked favorites from the later series), and focus on making each one truly compelling (and 3D), rather than having 700+ that consist of only two or three sprites.
I'm mostly just excited to see what kind of RPG-style maps people can make using this new cast. I suck at RTS-games, so being able to use a single one in a Diablo-style RPG map was always my favorite way to play in War3.
Hmm, very interesting post. I've actually never really given it much thought.
God forbid any of this shit actually be included in the game. I can understand providing incentives to buy a game new, and that's something I totally support. But if I *do* buy a game new, then I want access to every single facet of the game, true DLC notwithstanding.
Best response ever. A Winner is you!
Blizzard, I have only one request.
I'll admit, I would love an Arthas Megablok-figure. Also, a Human Paladin wearing Judgement...
You know what would be awesome?
