Yeah, I gotta say I'm not totally digging the direction they're taking the story. I mean, bringing in all of "the Elements", super-powered sidekicks... it all just feels very cheesy, as you mentioned.

See, this was the exact same issue I had, yet requesting to *FIRE* the guy? That seems pretty heavy-handed, to say the least.

Ugh, even with it's insane glitchiness, the story and voice-acting was fantastic. And the combat had *so* much potential; all it needed was (a shit-ton of) extra polish!

Agreed, it's actually a game I want *not* to happen. Absolutely nothing about the project strikes me a positive. Ninja Theory's one strong suit is their amazing storytelling, but going with a "reimagining/Emo Dante", I can't even look forward to that.

I think it depends. The longer the game, the better — but only as long as they can keep doing new things. If they're squarely focused on the core game-mechanics and nothing else, then I can suffice with a shorter game.
