More specifically, imagine if *Valve* made a Sonic game.

Honestly? If I don't finish a game, it's usually because either the game is too easy, monotonous, or difficult to keep me interested.
So, I'm starting to feel like video games just aren't the "passion" that they used to be for me. And since there's nothing else to really fill that void, nor even anything else I can spend my time doing, it makes me so very, very sad.
I know this isn't really on-topic, but that guys looks DAMN good for 39. Not that it's "old" or anything, mind you, but he could easily pass for mid-to-late twenties.
I fucking hate the new layout of Kotaku. Unless they change it soon, I'm going to stop visiting it; not because I'm pissed or anything, but it's far too laggy, and the community aspect has really been brushed under the rug.
So, MvC3's "DLC" just went live today. Apprently, it's all on-disc content, you're just paying for an Unlocker.
So, first they hand the series to a company who has proven — twice — that they are unable to make a fluid combat system, who in turn "reboots" the franchise, and the main character just *happened* to look almost identical to the lead designer. And then, they had the movie license over to the same people who made not…
I get what you mean, though I think part of the reason the idea seems so weak is simply because nobody's ever *really* attempted it.
I'm glad somebody else remembers the game! It had some major flaws, but there was definitely a solid system there, it just needed to be refined a bit more.
Not necessarily. With the exception of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese weapons, very little close-quarters weaponry even had the capacity to kill in one strike, let alone did so consistently (clean strikes to the neck would've been fairly uncommon).
SO, when the inevitible "3DS Lite" or subsequent model cmes out, what colors would you like to see?
Mr. Brian Ashcraft, I haz a question about the "Slider Pad". Is it similar to the PSP's "Analog nub", or does it feel smoother? One thing I absolutely despised about the PSP was it felt almost like the nub was "scratching" the surface underneath, which just didn't feel pleasant. Is the 3DS Slider-pad a smooth…
It's actually a hugely important concern. Most games require you to switch back and fourth between with-and-without Stylus, and the current design means you'll probably wind up just trying to clench it with your fingers while trying also use the ABXY buttons. Perhaps not hugely detrimental to the system as a whole,…
Anyone know if Cole's new Ice (or Fire?) powers will play any role in how he navigates the city, as his Lightning-powers do?
Ah, I'm with you there. Aesthetically, he's definitely not unique (though he's head-and-shoulders better than the design they *were* going to use). At least the scar isn't directly over the eye?
Ugh, the new design has officially ruined Kotaku for me. It's a great concept, but the lag is just too, too much; I find myself getting *frustrated* by coming here now, which makes me sad. Plus, a huge reason I even visited was being able to discuss stuff with other users, but that aspect has all but died with the new…
I gotta say, I'm curious about these Ice-powers. Will they actually influence your ability of parkour, as the lightning powers did? Or are the *PURELY* offensive, with no real use to your platforming skills?
To each his own, I actually found (Evil) Cole to be a pretty relatable character. Late-twenties or early-thirties guy, stuck in a dead-end job, suddenly gets hit with super-powers. Rather than necessarily being "Mother Teresa" or "Emporer Palpatine", the 'evil' route isn't so much evil as it is selfish.
As far as I know, there *aren't* any Fire powers for Cole, are there? I certainly haven't heard anything about it, anyway...
See, this makes me sad. I've had weight issues my whole life, but could never find inspiration to actually *lose* the weight; instead, I just grew to "accept" it. Not that it isn't obviously a very traumatizing experience, I just wish I could ever really *want* to lose weight enough to actually do it. Of course, I'm…
