First off, I'm glad to see Mortal Kombat returning to its roots (although, admittedly, I'm a little hesitant on bring back so much gore). Nice to see one being made "for the fans".

Release date?
@Nemeltneg: Exactly; the was the best part of the entire game. I thought it was insulting they didn't even let you replay that level, let alone unlock him for the rest of the game.
I'm still waiting for them to allow me to play the entire game as Darth Vader in the first Force Unleashed.
Is there a reason that Starkiller looks like a crack-addict now?
@I'm leaving a: Short hair on a woman, by no means, is automatically butch.
Regardless of whether the "DLC Characters" should come standard or not, I have to admit, I feel a lot better actually knowing that I have to download data, versus "Unlockers".
@MacGyver1138: That's what I've always heard, too. Personally, I've still yet to watch anything past Part I, but I've definitely heard the second was the best.
Diablo III, where is my awesome, redheaded Druid? Not those sissies from WoW; those guys are pathetic. The mighty Druid of Diablo II was just so damn badass.
@Bubbleman! Atlus is the new Squaresoft. SquareEnix is the Japanese Activision: I'm totally wish you. Well, I do like good background music, but you're right in that it tends to be pretty generic, either it's Rock, Rock-Orchestra, or Orchestra-and-Choir.
@TylDurden: Agreed. Metroid Prime may have been WAY different from the originals, but it still felt like a Metroid game (not to mention, one of the best soundtracks of the decade).
@resvrgam: I still love that model. I'd kill for them to get permission to use it :D
Hey, you know what's awesome? How blood-heritage plays absolutely no role in what type of person you'll become, save for the most primal of instincts.
Regardless if the game is any fun or not, it definitely *looks* Castlevania. Gabriel Belmont may have some really unusual proportions, but you can actually imagine him looking just like a 2D Castlevania sprite if you squint a little (the sprites always have rather small heads).
I just hope they add a middle-ground between "thin" and "fat". I always like my avatar to look relatively close to what I actually look like, but there's a starting gap between skinny and... not-so-skinny.
@IamTheS: See, it's BS like that, that causes people to go postal. Seriously, sorry to hear all that happened to ya, man. :*(
I have to say, even though I hated the combat system, BioWare did an amazing job with some of the character designs. Hawke is, without a doubt, one of the best looking heroes of the decade, on several different levels.
So, when are they gonna add those Final Fantasy costumes?
@Fata1moose: Oh god, Hammer made me want to physically maul my own face every time she appeared. Reaver, however, was far-and-away the best character in the game. Such a shame he wasn't more prevalent; his VA did a superb job with the character, hopefully he reappears in Fable 3.
@BasicPaul: Meh, to each his own. It's perhaps a bit tacky, but I'd rather have something that stands out, than some plain-jane design. I suppose I'm mostly impressed that they refrained from using the word "Fable" on it, unlike most "special edition" controllers.
