You clearly should have gotten a PC instead of that phone/tablet then because raceca... PC Gaming FTW!

I own two of the Auria monitors which I picked up from Microcenter and two of the monoprice 27 inch monitors and both brands are really good. I have the Monoprice monitors with just DVI and VGA but the Auria's have a better selection of ports. Despite this, the monoprice monitors are better in my opinion. The colors…
I like your logic but seriously dude, you should totally get a PC and game on it in your living room because it's totally more comfortable than the unlisted metric by which everyone universally judges comfort !
Ugh! I couldn't give a damn if the gameplay is good. Why can't we all just agree the visuals are the most important element of a game? I mean, as long as I can play my games at 11520X2160 res in 3D and at 240FPS, I'll be happy. At that resolution, you don't even need a controller because the game is just that good!
With the new console generation approaching quickly, I might be looking into Gamefly/redbox and the like. My only problem with rental services is I'm a busy person and it takes me a couple weeks to beat a game because there just isn't enough time so I'd end up paying quite a bit to rent a game (from redbox anyways)…
I have a powerful gaming computer with 2 GTX 670's in SLI and I play on a 2560x1440 resolution monitor and I can tell you that legitimate AA like SMAA or MSAA produces a far larger hit than upping the resolution. Additionally, AA at a higher resolution is exponentially more taxing.
Well, at least Joanie loves Chachi...
Yeah - PC Part Picker is a great site and very useful too.
You vaguely describe having "other concerns" and "different priorities" but I don't think we're as misaligned as you seem to imply. Where did I say "PC gaming is great and better than console gaming"? I simply asserted that your "reasons" for not PC gaming are the same I hear/see from all console-only gamers and it's…
I find it interesting that you think the Xbox version is missing detail when there is clearly a layer of post-processing FXAA blurring everything on the screen in the PS4 version. I can't decide if I like the smoother image with less detail (PS4) or the jagged image with more detail that is playing on the xbox. If…
Your console's graphics card is already obsolete and it hasn't even been released yet.
Here is a quick PC build which is technically more powerful (CPU considerably more powerful and GPU somewhat more powerful) and it comes in at right around $530. You also get two free games!- http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1UKcF
"And if anyone thinks they need more than 2GB, get more than one card..." - Having multiple 2GB cards does not increase your total amount of VRAM. If you have two, three or even four 2GB graphics cards, you still only have 2GB of VRAM. If you need more than 2GB, you must purchase a card with more than 2GB. Add…
I can attest to the AC66U being a really nice router. It has many features including VPN which is really easy to setup. Asus provides you with a free dns service which assigns the router a static IP. The wireless G range is outstanding. Nearly double my old dual-band wireless-n linksys router. The speeds are great on…
Steam just recently gave the option to install games to a separate directory than the regular Steam folder. It's nice because you can then install games which might benefit from shorter load times on your SSD and store your main steam folder on a traditional hdd. If the games are already installed, you can use "steam…
I don't think anyone should have to apologize - they should just be more honest. It is wrong to mislead people and show them features which do not exist in their products. Showcase the best your product has to offer, not what it doesn't/can't/won't offer and there won't be a problem. You can make any turd of a game…
I don't think that is a fair comparison. The pre-release demo footage of the game had a ton of bells and whistles and graphical fidelity that the entire game, once released, did not have at all. A scene being removed from a movie is not the same. It would be more like if a movie was shown in the trailer as having…
You did end awful.
The GTX 570 is a Direct X 11 GPU and tessellation is a Direct X 11 feature. Even my 2-3 year old ATI 5730 mobile GPU in my laptop has support for DX11 (although turning DX11 features on generally kills performance).
