I grew up around boxing as well. My uncle was a pro fighter and is now a trainer for pro fighters (a few were even ranked and held minor belts). I'm 36 and the first big prizefight I remember watching was Pryor-Arguello and I was hooked from there. I have been fortunate enough to do some work in the business and meet

Yeah, I just noticed that Darchinyan-Perez was at 10:30. I didn't scroll my guide late enough.

Boxing DUAN

A great fight marred by a tremendously shitty stoppage.

Juan Ma in big trouble.

Of course the action is good, Gus Johnson is calling it.

Mayweather probably kills these guys, but fuck him. He isn't fighting anyone, especially the obvious opponent that everyone wants to see him fight. Instead we get Paquiao fighting a washed up Shane Mosely.

Maybe he does, but we'll probably never see it. The big thing that MMA has on boxing is that fights get made when they should. Of course that's much easier when all the fighters are under one contractual umbrella like they are in MMA.

Berto has had no legs this entire fight and he's still hanging with a very good fighter. Anyone else in the division would have been out of there 3 rounds ago.

HOLY SHIT!!!

Will the person who took Andre Berto's legs please return them to the Red corner ASAP.

I still don't see any hard shot that would have taken Berto's legs like that.

Not to be outdone by Ted Williams, it seems that HBO has found their own homeless person with an incredible voice.

Larry Merchant needs to sit down before he falls down. He has blown past Andy Rooney as America's Official Grumpy Old Fart.

Fear of getting the Gary McCord treatment.

I have always said that the difference between a game and a sport is you can't play a sport with a cigarette in your mouth and a beer right next to you.

Rory Norman or the Great White Rory are also acceptable.

Gin Martini with Beefeater.

Same answer as with the Football national champion.....who cares?

Sketchier national champion, UConn or Auburn?
