Much of that is reasonable good info. I doubt anyone will ever ask to get paid for interviewing or taking a class. Most of us don’t.

The SAG scale rate is a minimum of $1,000 per day. Or about the amount that a medical doctor makes.

I would have the original film much lower in my list. Not that it wasn’t good, but tonally it’s much different than 3-6 (haven’t seen 7 yet, obviously), and the action not nearly as good. Felt a little cheesier too. My rankings from worst to best so far would be 2, 1, 3, 4, 5, 6.

There’s no arc. There’s a stilted sloppily written instant change at the very end. Nothing in their relationship would dictate that. Nothing. That’s the problem. What could’ve been a mentorship or familial sort of reluctance that blossoms was shredded for the sake of the Mary Sue who then—in a stunning turn—literally

I did feel a “she’s going to come around to being supportive” vibe from the movie, but I also felt that she was very unlikeable for most of the movie. Too much to earn the payoff at the end.

I assume this is intentional and directly related to the budget. Which is stupid. If you can’t or won’t afford to pay for actual super heroing in your super hero show, just don’t make it.

I had my doubts from the start since they took ‘expansionist empire infiltrating superheroes’ and turned it into ‘refugees turned terrorist spy fare’ but the worst thing is that it’s also boring and the spycraft is poorly done. It’s failing on all cylinders.

The show just looks bland as hell.

I am not against these types of laws. Parents should have a say. Social media has not been a healthy psychological experiment for minors. Tech companies’ complaint is money not the First Amendment. They count minors as users that can be advertised to, and anything that can affect the bottom line will get the lawyers

Advanced reviews however are saying the “Fake rumors” are .....true . so....

One of my only day one purchases this year. Demo was so good, I almost played through it twice just to show my Father how far the series has come from when I played Final Fantasy VII when I was a little kid. It is unbelievable satisfying to say we have a new Final Fantasy to look forward to, a true power house title,

The problem with this of course is what the definition of “blind casting” really is. It seems on its face to be closer to the Libertari-bro idea of “just cast who is best”, wielded as a cudgel against diversity, not for it. When Disney cast Halle Bailey to be Ariel, it wasn’t an accident. They didn’t trip and fall

I read elsewhere that on a previous outing, the vessel got lost for a few hours and the support ship turned off the onboard Internet to prevent anyone posting to social media about it until the incident was over.  So . . . I could actually kind of see them deliberately excluding a beacon for the sake of PR damage

With Elvis

That’s not a stupid question at all. Transponders that can send a signal from that far down do exist, but given everything we’ve learned about Oceangate it wouldn’t surprise me if they didn’t include one on this little death trap.

I had zero interest in FFXVI, but tried out the demo just to confirm that it wasn’t for me.

But I thought it was the best superhero movie ever? Are you telling me James Gunn was biased and not a trustworthy source? No way!

If this site does an article about an IP involving Joss Whedon, Johnny Depp or especially JK Rowling they never fail to mention, or even focus on their failings. However somehow this site just seems to want to give Ezra Miller a pass even though he abused women, groomed children, kidnapped children, broke into a hotel

This is insane, lol. The effects were terrible and they absolutely weren’t “supposed” to be. I can understand if you have a certain style you’re going for, but these weren’t stylistic, these were just “10 year-old video game” bad.

This movie was delayed for SO long that I figured they’d have time to get it right

ehh im fine with that. they cant enforce it for shit but its a good idea. parents need to pay attention to that stuff. my dad was always on top of us when we were online to see who we were talking to. locally we just had a little girl get kidnapped by someone she met on snap and they caught them in colorado. they
