Might want to check the Top Gear power board, it does a lot more than go straight.

The weight comment was in reference to the heavy "prototype" panels that he plans to use as molds. He doesn't care what it weighs now, since he's making lightweight body panels for it.

I wish this was higher resolution, it looks like in the second view of the accident that the manhole cover was actually a slotted/mesh drain, and it seemed to break when the SUV's wheel hit it.
