HOTS has a very similar problem. There are games you can tell are over by minute five but you have to slog your way through a 20 minute match to see the inevitable.

One of the major reasons I can’t get into overwatch as much as I’d like is because of how lopsided most the matches are. Sure it’s fun in the moment to be on the winning steamroll side, but it sucks real hard being on the other side, which I experience often.

I feel like overwatch is a hard sales for viewers. With mobas you get the whole picture with a decent driver at the camera, but overwatch is locked to viewing on one player and it’s not easy or very enjoyable to watch.

If overwatch were a TDM game I don’t believe the hate would be as strong. But because it’s an objective game and Hanzo is never there to stop or push the payload, Hanzo can go fuck himself.
