This guy is part of the reason gamer culture is considered toxic. It’s a shame he is so popular and makes money being the “character” that he plays on Twitch. That money would be much better spent elsewhere.

Seeing as how he has only won non “game” leagues (orange island and the battle frontier) there’s no way he wins this. His problem is clearly the leagues rig the matches to ensure someone from Kanto doesn’t come rolling in and stealing their league titles from their own citizens.

The problem with recent halo MP is the armor and other upgrade you get from loot boxes. Halo 3 was just halo. You spawn, you grab guns you kill. Now you can call in COD esque kill streaks and it just doesn’t feel like halo anymore. 

One of my favorite things to do while playing Sim City was basically play the game as well as I could for as long as I could, but when the people start complaining about taxes( that I raised to get money to build something they wanted like a subway) and moving away, I’d unleash the full fury of the disaster menu. Personally I just dislike the third person view. I didn’t play pubg until FPP was turned on, and I tried fortnite a few times but the TPP just turns me off from it. If they had a FPP added I’d be more inclined to playing it more.

I “support” the LA Gladiators because I like their color scheme and the Shanghai Dragons because they are trash tier and it’s almost comical how bad they are as a team. Florida Mayhem(where I’m from) get an honorable mention for being both bad and where I’m from.

I haven’t been able to play gtao in over a year and a half due to “unknown network errors”. It’s the only game I have issues with online and it really sucks. I used to love just dropping in and doing a few races to waste time.

Didn’t Gonzo end up nearly going out of business around that time? I may be remembering a different studio, but I swear it was Gonzo that nearly collapsed in 2009 or so, it was right before that anime about mahjong girls came out iirc. If so that makes sense the anime would have changed hands.

I don’t think what No Mans Sky did was candid, that was just massive over selling of the game, and they should have totally expected the backlash that came from that release. The same thing will happen if Star Citizen is ever released. It’s going to be hung out to dry by the players when they realize the game over…

I personally have twitch on instead of TV. I cut cable a couple years ago so when I’m doing some cleaning/cooking I’ll turn a stream on for a game I’m interested in to watch some gameplay. No different than if someone turned on the USA network in the middle of a 90 hour NCIS marathon for me.

Most the people I watch on twitch are because they are miles better at the game than me. Some games it’s to learn to be slightly better at the game than I currently am, HOTS, some because like you said I like watching the game play out, PUBG, and some because I have a passing interest in the game but don’t actually…
