As much as I hate to give the many credit, I do like how Tesla’s watch themselves when parked and have that Dog mode so you can leave your pooch in there for a few minutes. However, I’d still never buy one of those swasticars, new or used.

I am convinced that if there was a vote that we could get a really good universal health care system (like Germany or Finland) AND better public transportation network where all we’d have to give up are the fucking guns, it would not have a chance of passing.
Yup, cowardice and paranoia are very much part of the equation.
Hey, just because you’re not a chickenshit coward afraid of your own shadow and will fire at anyone or anything because you’re so paranoid doesn’t mean... er.. shit, I don’t know how to finish this sentence, so I’m just gonna end it...... here.
This country’s gun culture is fucking off-the-rails absurd.
And by this math, dropping in the Tesla motor is simply overkill for a battery that cannot deliver. Get a bigger source, or swap the motor for a proper fit. Not worth the $55k if you want to do either.
Gonna bet you that’s why he’s selling it. Came out the other end of this project with something far less impressive than it appears to be.
See my other reply. This battery pack can not supply 400 kW at all. Highest output value for the 16 kWh pack is 136 kW. Other sources put it at 110 or 120 kW only. That Tesla motor has to sip through a straw.
And off the table, straight in to the potted ficus!
I’ve seen a few of these around me. They’re baller and this has got to be a much better way to play the “appear wealthier than you really are” game than by buying another basket case Maserati Quattroporte.
There are so many used EVs on the market with under 10k miles. It’s painfully obvious these were owned by first-time EV drivers who were expecting a different experience and can’t deal with the challenges of charging if you don’t have a level 2 charger in your garage.
The other trick many are resorting to is taking a “down payment” off of the sale price.
Dealer does this to me one time and I’m gone. Life is too short to play games, and the gravy days of parts shortage are over.

Not on your life, my tunnel friend.
Because they have zero idea what they are doing and like to think they know better, whilst simultaneously ignoring centuries of underground transit experience.
I’m sure there will be totally reasonable takes on the Phos-Chek and have zero conspiracy theorists providing their expert opinions on the matter.
This message is for Nemo: You can get a bluetooth dongle to plug into your OBD-II port and turn off DOD/AFM on your Escalade. I have the Range AFM Disabler in my 2012 Suburban and have been using it flawlessly for over 5 years.
