All of these videos have a strong stench of fakeness, an attempt to get their name (and more importantly face) “out there” so they can become, say, an internet celeb. Social media fame chasers have made me skeptical of 99.4% of the crazy shit that’s supposed to be legit.

If it’s mostly financed and on sub 48-month terms, hitting $1000/mo is really easy with modern pricing. A $50k vehicle with $5k down will hit that at 0% interest (after taxes & such).

Oh yes, agreed 100%. It was awful then and still awful now. I do remember everything from Chrysler to Nissan rocking this look, but Toyota was the most egregious. I can see the SSR hate. But I don’t think it’s THAT bad. I just needs a nice set of wheels, lower it a bit and take those running boards off. Plus you could get one with a LS2/T56 combo. Throw a honkin’ cam in there and smoke some tires.

The stock down 52% in the past 5 years. You can’t even point at Boeing directly for an assassination conspiracy, it could be down single person who lost money and wanted to take it out on him. So, the list of those with a motive is pretty long.

Yeah, if he were whistleblowing on, say, a company that makes concrete pipes? I wouldn’t believe there’s a conspiracy.

The solution here is that we need regulations related to bumper height so that taller vehicles don’t override smaller/lower vehicles.
