This is just theft, followed by sale of stolen goods. The dealership owner ought to be sitting in a prison cell by now.

Nah, he’s just stupid. Remember when he fired most of Twitter’s staff? Like a week later he was begging some of them to come back because he didn’t have enough experienced personnel to keep the site working. He just fired people willy-nilly without bothering to learn what they did or why Twitter had so many employees…
Also, if every single Tesla Model Y on the road could have their headlights properly aimed from the factory, that would be great, thanks...
Do automakers not realize they could take like 8 gallons out of those tanks and market their cars as costing less than $50 to fill?!?! The American public would LOVE IT. Fox news would have segments about how Ford is saving America with their $50 fill up F-150! They would have interviews with people at the gas…

Sure, maybe one of the batteries that make up the cell is a dud, but generally speaking, even with the current battery tech in EVs, that’s not a true statement.
Of *course* the hur-dur moah powah version for silly money is the only one they can bother to bring over. I just want another 3-series wagon with reasonable power. ~250hp, PHEV, and a 40 mile EV range and I would look at one hard. They make that for the rest of the world, but I guess we North Americans don’t deserve…
All of these videos have a strong stench of fakeness, an attempt to get their name (and more importantly face) “out there” so they can become, say, an internet celeb. Social media fame chasers have made me skeptical of 99.4% of the crazy shit that’s supposed to be legit.
When I lived just outside Atlanta (Cobb County) there really was this ridiculous notion of social climbing and HAVING to keep up with the Jones. Or I guess you end up in Real Housewife purgatory? I knew women who made under $20/hour insist they had to have a Lexus SUV because otherwise the other moms would mock them.…
I appreciate any odd looking vehicle. SSR, the HHR, Aztek, Vehicross...i love them all 🤣
If it’s mostly financed and on sub 48-month terms, hitting $1000/mo is really easy with modern pricing. A $50k vehicle with $5k down will hit that at 0% interest (after taxes & such).
Oh yes, agreed 100%. It was awful then and still awful now. I do remember everything from Chrysler to Nissan rocking this look, but Toyota was the most egregious. And it wasn’t even limited to their lower-tier brands like Scion and Toyota; if you look at a Lexus RX from that era it is swathed in the same AIWA stereo…
I can see the SSR hate. But I don’t think it’s THAT bad. I just needs a nice set of wheels, lower it a bit and take those running boards off. Plus you could get one with a LS2/T56 combo. Throw a honkin’ cam in there and smoke some tires.
The frosting on the cake was when the Fisker guy said “if you could just let me know who this kid is”
He doesn’t seem like a car person, either, so his idea of what makes a car “bad” is different from someone who’s experienced a Chevy Venture, for example.
The stock down 52% in the past 5 years. You can’t even point at Boeing directly for an assassination conspiracy, it could be down single person who lost money and wanted to take it out on him. So, the list of those with a motive is pretty long.
Yeah, if he were whistleblowing on, say, a company that makes concrete pipes? I wouldn’t believe there’s a conspiracy.
If my kid had decided to do the decent thing and play a trunk-friendly instrument like violin instead of the damn cello like a weirdo, I would have one of these already. Great suggestion!
The solution here is that we need regulations related to bumper height so that taller vehicles don’t override smaller/lower vehicles.
