Equally as compelling? I’m in. I want integration with my watch via my phone, I want the internet connectivity through my phone’s existing plan, I want no charge map updates, no subscriptions, and access to every app I currently use on Carplay.

That would be “compelling.”  Anything less?  Screw you, GM.

So true. I’ll walk past a Gallardo to go look at a pristine ‘93 Cavalier z24 because the latter is harder to find nowadays.

My High School girlfriend had an NX2000 with t-tops, love that car.  Would definitely be my pick here.

The only way I’d accept this if it’s free.

And it won’t be, because that’s not the point.

WILL U TRADAE FOR A 1954 JOHN DEERRE RIDE ON MOWER AND A BROKEN GAMBOY?1!

Lada Niva!

This thing was decades ahead of Jeep with the whole “angry eyebrows” thing.

And most importantly it feels like an M3, but doesn’t look like one from the front!

Anecdotal counterpoint, we have a 2016 330e with ~15 miles of range and it covers both school drop-offs and pickups with a charge during the day, and any running around to local stores in between. Takes about 2 hours, give or take, on 240v to fully charge.

Then, when the charge runs out I can baby it and get well north

Especially at the end of the run — I bought a brand new ‘05 Linear for $10k off MSRP.

Great car, and better looking than the Subie.

Squint real hard -- It’s an Audi R8.

Front view too, the hood down screams “Charger.”

This, but widen the time scale.  I saw a really nice 2nd gen Ford Probe the other day, an early 90s Grand Prix GTP a few months back... It could conceivably be the last time I see one on the road and I’m happy to see it, especially if they’re well-kept.

I’d love that for a lot of these EVs, for my own personal preference for range over stupid super acceleration, and for the belief that most people on the road shouldn’t be trusted with those levels of power and acceleration.  I naturally assumed it’s a trade-off between acceleration and range, but I’m not sure if

I had a Volt and now have a BMW 330e.  Both PHEVs.  I’d LOVE to see a PHEV diesel.  Ideally a wagon, naturally.  30 miles or so of electric for around town and 50-60mpg on the highway with huge range would be awesome.

For performance purposes, and after tires, brakes, safety stuff, if you have a modern turbo car, an ECU flash. It’s almost unbelievable to me as a somewhat-old-timer that you can pay $500, plug a TV remote into your dash, press a button and come out making 50hp and 100lb-ft more and sometimes still be covered under

I’m personally insulted because this is totally me.

Do they provide a discount at purchase to cover the cost of the replacement front end so you can look at this thing without feeling a sense of shame and disgust?

GLH & S are absolutely awesome.  The American take on hot hatches from way back in the 80s.

It looks like someone took a magnifying glass to a CLA, and that’s in no way a compliment.
