I’m looking forward to their sports car, the “Half Life 3,” and their pickup, the “Duke Nukem Forever.”

“Wiking.”  All I can think of is Chekov from Star Trek.

I’ve never seen this, but would like to. Watching the videos it always strikes me that 45mph just doesn’t seem “that fast” on the road, yet the level of destruction is so high.

I’m not sure, but as someone who takes car seat safety really seriously the number of people I’ve met who have a). car seats incorrectly (loosely) installed in cars, and b). kids incorrectly installed in car seats is both shocking and frightening.

Listen buddy, Europe is home of the Netherlands which is full of the Dutch.  I’m not fucking spending my time with a bunch of dyke-jockey lowland scum.

Still inferior to the Double-Decker Taco Supreme.  God rest its delicious soul.

Owner of a 2014 Gen 1 Volt, unless your use case absolutely requires 5 seats or >40 <50 miles battery range, I don’t see why the first gen isn’t viable, it’s a great car.

Or a 500e for DD duty and an Abarth for the weekends/trips.

The Bristol Blenheim respectfully disagrees!

I drove a 2004 XJ8 (300hp V8, RWD) in several Chicago winters.  On all-seasons, it was a handful.  On proper actual winter tires, it was perfectly manageable.  Unless you live where you receive feet of snow and no plow service, I wouldn’t rule out a car you’d love over ~$1k of proper winter tires/wheels.

I think the Miata looks better, but the Fiat’s powertrain is cooler (in theory, if presumably far less reliable in practice).

Actually, for delivering booze you’re better off with another famous movie car, in black, with a Chicken on the hood!

I’m sure an LS1-swapped Miata could tow said trailer, Rick.

I buy all my best steaks from Kube’s Meats.

Now playing

Where were you 11 years ago when I needed this for my halloween costume?!

Duramax in a C8?  Hell yes, me too.

You’re right, but this is pushing dangerously into “supercar” territory where the DCT reigns supreme.

I’m in awe of what they’ve done with the C8, but the rear end is a mess, this coming from a C4 owner that was cool with the C7 taillights.

If it’s priced approximately the same, I’m on board with the change.  If the move to mid-engine takes it way more expensive, I think they should retain a front-engine version at a similar price point to today.

Agreed.  Can you get to highway speeds, from a stop, up a normal on-ramp?  Then you’re pretty much OK, 98% of the time.
