I want them to start using the WRC principle. Give me 300hp, but give me 300hp across the power band.

I’m 6'3", my DD is a first-gen Chevy Volt. I can drive it with a rear-facing Nuna Rava convertible seat behind me without my knees touching the dash. I really don’t get this idea that people our size can’t fit into smaller cars.
The wife has a Grand Cherokee which we can hang a trailer off the back if I ever need to…
So next month, then?
Three little Italian cars racing through the streets? Does that make this “The English Job?”
Bruce, of course.
From Mar-a-Lago to Mar-y-Lago.
I don’t understand why the Accord Hybrid, Clarity PHEV and Insight all exist from the same manufacturer. Are consumers in this segment REALLY that picky?
Mercedes will sue for copyright infringement.
Come back! You forgot Raiden and Xaiden!
It’s the sheds, mate.
It only drives the wheels in a very small set of conditions — At highway speeds in certain cases it can clutch the engine directly to the wheels as it operates more efficiently in that specific case. Otherwise, when the engine is running, it’s absolutely serving as a generator for the electric motors.
SPRINT!
I grew up in England in the 80s in small sub-2.0 litre cars. When night first saw an imported ‘86 C4 I was blown away by the sleek profile and 5.7 litre engine. That’s why about 25 years later I bought my own ‘94 that now sits on my driveway.
Funn, it’s almost like basically all people buy cars to drive, not crash, but unavoidable accidents can happen to anyone at any time.
We have a ‘14 Grand Cherokee with the forward crash warning and it is a bit sensitive, having triggered once or twice when I’m coming up behind a turning car at a distance I deem appropriate. Obviously you can’t expect it to be able to judge when the obstacle it sees will be moved out of the way.
“Make a tight merge” and “keep proper distance” don’t seem to jive.
I have a ‘94 Corvette and previously had an’04 XJ8. Both 300hp, give or take. 0-60 in 5/6 seconds.
I thought part of being grown up was sensible risk management?
“I’m not opposed to EVs, just don’t see them as an improvement over established tech at the current time.”
How the hell do you expect them to become an improvement over gas/diesel if they don’t sell them to fund further investments?!
I’m disappointed “Simeon Panda” isn’t a character from a kids’ TV show.
