As someone who works from home 100% the problem here is people looking for a “work from home job” not “a job that allows you to work from home.” Respectable employers offer “normal” positions that just happen to allow work from home:

“Renault Espace minivan (which they pronounce “eh-spahs”)“

... Because that’s how it’s pronounced.

“And can we talk about a 4.0 V8 that only makes 249hp?”

From 1989? Sure! Let’s talk about the equivalent Mustang 5.0, or Camaro / Corvette 5.7s from the same year.

Needs more Vogues with a thin whitewall.

I’m really interested to see what the top-spec car will look like, price-wise. Say, 250 miles, autopilot, dual-charging. Right now the earliest Model S on the used market are going for about $50k with around 50k miles, and that’s for a 60 or 85 RWD.

If Tesla can deliver a top-spec, or at least nicely specced 250 mile

It’s the same Voltec drivetrain (I think the only difference was an increase in available battery capacity in the ‘16). I’m sure a Volt-certified dealer could service it.

That’s what a fully-loaded Gen 2 Volt costs, which is an appreciably better car than the ELR.

You can still find new, nicely-optioned Gen 1 Volts for around $25k.

It still blows my mind that 0-60 in 5.7 seconds in a giant luxo-barge is considered “slow” or “barely acceptable.”

Yes, supercars can do 2.8s but who’s driving an XJ at full-throttle from every light?

I’m sure this wasn’t a dealer but it’s relevant in this discussion... And awesome!

If you don’t have the wing on your Pacifica I officially hate you!

I knew a guy with a mid-80s Cavalier wagon beater (this was in the late 90s) who put Viper V10 emblems on it. Brilliant.

“...prepared to peel rubber out of our lot.”

But wasn’t able to?

“I started to imagine what life might be like for the poor soul. It would be dreadful. Absolutely awful. And all they seem to want to make their life better is a third gender option box on official documents. That’s not really the end of the world for everyone else, is it?”

That’s the crux of the argument right there,

Boring, but the Mercedes diesel (2.4l?) that these are sold with in other markets will drop right in, so I’d do that.

Isn’t the GN’s interior grey?

You mean like you’d have to go in damn near any given car?

...Because this is a GT, not a sportscar.
