I figured something like this was going on — There's a lot of listings for lesser cars that seem too good to be true lately — low-mileage 10 year old Cadillacs for $4k, etc. Always listed as private sale, usually only with a first name. If you do a nationwide search on Cars.com you can even see multiple ads using
