There's a clear distinction here — A Beige 5 year-old Camry isn't particularly classy, but it's fairly unlikely the owner believes it's classy. The Excaliburs and Donks, on the other hand, look trashy to the extreme but I'm sure their owners are of the firm belief that there's nothing more classy on the roads.

We had some lights out in the area a few weeks ago due to bad storms. Night fell, and power still wasn't restored (Lights were just off, not even flashing red), so the police put flares around all the intersections to mark them.

Needs more Lada Riva!

Thunder Chicken!

It's very "Jalopnik," but I can't help but think that it sucks... Also, I don't think the 500ci Caddy motor was around in '85.

Thing is, you could see Cameron driving a Quattro. You know the car that Brown lusts after is a beige Camry.

My parents' late 70's Peugeot estate. Metallic mint green exterior and dark orange cloth interior. The interior was itchy, I remember that. Around that time my Grandad had a mid 80's Lada Riva (VAZ 2102, I think) in blue, which he later traded for a white one.

On my first boss' '93 RX7 TT, then his '90 RX7 Convertible. Next time behind the wheel of a manual was my roommate's New Beetle when I was trying to move it out of my way when it was parked on a muddy slope. Stall, stall, stall, stall, stall.

Curb feelers.

It's in Hungary, it's probably based on a neighbouring Polski Fiat 128 Chassis.

@Mad_Science: Different expectations? Seeing as how the speed limit in the UK is 70mph, I don't think so — Most places in the US don't allow that speed!

ReverendDexter: THE STAGE IS SET! THE GREEN FLAG DROPS!

Since they're diesel engines I wouldn't imagine they'd get very far at all on a tank of "gas."

My second car was a 2-door '85 Celebrity Eurosport. I don't think many were made, or at least very few survived. I still see the occasional Wagon on the road every now and then, but good god was that car awful!

The Triumph, but I'll add a small tank of oil under the chassis with small perforations in it, so it's true to form.

I honestly thought that was going to be a Ferrari Kill-List, much like old fighter pilots used to paint on their planes when they shot an enemy down.

It annoys me that Kei-style trucks aren't road-legal here. I grew up in the UK and you could find them on the road and keeping up with traffic. The US needs to get over this obsession with 0-60 times. I'm sure MANY urban/city retailers could make a very convincing business case for something like this vehicle, and

My parents had a late 70's Peugeot wagon when I was a wee tyke. Metallic Mint Green exterior, Orange cloth interior.

Monthly Payment.
