@Mad_Science: Different expectations? Seeing as how the speed limit in the UK is 70mph, I don't think so — Most places in the US don't allow that speed!

ReverendDexter: THE STAGE IS SET! THE GREEN FLAG DROPS!

Since they're diesel engines I wouldn't imagine they'd get very far at all on a tank of "gas."

My second car was a 2-door '85 Celebrity Eurosport. I don't think many were made, or at least very few survived. I still see the occasional Wagon on the road every now and then, but good god was that car awful!

The Triumph, but I'll add a small tank of oil under the chassis with small perforations in it, so it's true to form.

I honestly thought that was going to be a Ferrari Kill-List, much like old fighter pilots used to paint on their planes when they shot an enemy down.

It annoys me that Kei-style trucks aren't road-legal here. I grew up in the UK and you could find them on the road and keeping up with traffic. The US needs to get over this obsession with 0-60 times. I'm sure MANY urban/city retailers could make a very convincing business case for something like this vehicle, and

My parents had a late 70's Peugeot wagon when I was a wee tyke. Metallic Mint Green exterior, Orange cloth interior.

Monthly Payment.

Insert obligatory "Bring over EU/AU Fords as Mercurys" comment here.

$4.15/gal for regular unleaded in far-west suburban Chicago (Plainfield/Romeoville) last night. Diesel's at $4.99. How the hell can the 'burbs of Chicago be paying more than NYC? The nation's getting farked but we're getting it especially bad.

This vehicle is the winner of every PCH to come. I mean "Every." I don't care if you have a gas-turbine powered monster 4wd Citroen 2CV. This wins.

I want the F6 Typhoon. 420HP from the Turbo'd 6. Brilliant.

Just another vote for the "Court Summerfield Trophy."

slantsick: If it's the 1910 Reeves Octoauto, yes. Otherwise, no.

Either a new Winnebago-converted Sprinter or a mid-90's Chevy Conversion with a Quigley 4wd Conversion.

I think it's a great idea, if it's optimized for mileage. Doesn't the VW TwinCharger 1.4 make something like 170hp? More than enough for a car of that size.

Rodney, you plonker!!!

I hate to get all political, but how long does it take us to spend $4 million in Iraq?

Porsche 959 at the Bentley dealer in Downers Grove, IL, about 6 years ago. I drove past and did a U-turn to go back and double-check what I thought I saw.
