Overpaid, incompetent, and lazy? Their wages cannot buy a house let alone rent a house in SLO county. Incompetent? I’ll give you the Chief since she “lost” her service weapon at a Chipotle restroom. But the officers, not so much. Lazy? Please tell me the extremely high crime rates other than Cal Poly’s higher than…
Ho lee chit, that picture is down the street from my old house, many photos were taken down there. Beautiful car. Absolutely beautiful.
Currently building a 1948 Ford Anglia Gasser with my dad, just finished up a 30 Model A that my buddy has, before that was a 31 Model A, then before that helped with a 53 Ford, then multiple muscle cars. I grew up building cars, literally grew up with a wrench in my hand. Mostly muscle cars, but I have helped build…
Yes, you kinda have to! My hometown man!
Central Coast is Paso to Santa Barbara, including the other armpit of CA, Lompoc.
I used to work in Lompoc, and I am from the area. It is quite awesome getting to see the launches whenever they have them, and you can see a lot of the launch platforms from Highway 135.
Does anyone remember this game?? The customization was amazing!! Plus it looked so awesome! Auto Modellista for the PS2
double post
They aren't actively turning away recruits, they just want the best of the best. Your background HAS to be clean, a lot of people get DQ'd from backgrounds because they got themselves DQ'd. Either from something they did not disclose and their background investigator found out, or they have drug problems or bad…
Comprehensive training for pursuits, driving at high speeds, and maintaining control of the car at all times. That is what they are trained for. This is just a by product they do for families of newly graduated officers.
As someone finishing up the process to become a highway patrolman, this is awesome. This is the hardest part of the academy and most people wash out because of the performance driving.
All of these videos were filmed on the CHP's West Sacramento Academy race track. This is usually done on graduation days or Academy Open Houses. Why are you pissed off that patrolmen are getting comprehensive training? I know its your opinion but jeeze man, you even think the Blue Angels is a waste?
FCKYEAH! CHP Dual wield!
Kind of misleading.... Can anyone get me out of this gray purgatory?
I don't think I have ever seen one in the wild... Corrados yes, but no Scirocco.
GMs ignition recall is a tragic nightmare, but at least GM is solving the problem by, fixing the faulty ignition component putting a plastic tab on the keys so people don't hang lots of stuff on them.
Ford produced a two-door version of the venerable Model A. It was called the Tudor. The four door version was unsurprisingly called the Fordor.
Recently sold my 2006 Cobalt SS with 134,xxx miles... for $7100. I'm happy for what I got for it...the person I sold it to promptly destroyed the clutch in the first 48hrs of owning it though, which isn't any of my business.
I really don't get all the hate on Cobalts here. I have had a 2006 Cobalt SS since brand new, and it's an awesome car. Yeah it's a Chevy but so what? For the money it's a damn fast car. Other cars in it's class have no chance even against the supercharged version. So GM messed up, it's not like other automakers have…
