I’m not fond of locking difficulties as well (Bioware repeatedly does this) but as is pointed out, if the greyed out option’s major change is that it /deletes your save/ I can understand locking it off at first.

The vast majority of time it’s people explicitly doing it to make others angry for attention (‘for the lulz’ being what that pretty much means), and they don’t cloak it in altruism.
Assassin’s Creed 2 stands out for me, especially Venice Rooftops:
That behavior seems acceptable to you, but other people think it’s kind of obnoxious. So that’s why it’s terrific.
Ok, guy calling other people a sociopath on the internet over a dumb No Man’s Sky joke (a joke people aren’t allowed to make because kids are dying in Chicago, which is both totally related and somehow not a logical fallacy) - I guess I’m the one that needs to grow up. I’ll be doing that somewhere else.
You could easily turn that argument around: People are being gunned down in Chicago and THIS (stupid satire article on Jezebel) is what bothers you? That’s because that’s a ridiculous argument, you couldn’t get upset about anything because X tragedy was occurring somewhere else, and they’re not even upset. You’re…
Can they still get Samantha Bee to replace Noah or did she already wander off? I don’t see much hope for the show otherwise.
Yeah, because one side or the other needs to be flawless and it sure as shit is going to be the one you’re on. Keep up the smug, self-righteous mockery that I can just as easily find in places full of people you hate.
This entire article is actually satire, they’re not actually saying they’re protesting the game. It’s a joke. They’re engaging in Poe’s Law here because this sounds like something Jezebel sorts WOULD actually complain about, but the delivery makes it pretty obvious they’re not. They deliberately were trying to lure…
I don’t know what to tell you. I can’t say your experience is false, because I wasn’t there and I can’t know, but what I’ve experienced and what everybody else is pointing out in the community is very different. The XP reduction due to tags is very widely pointed out and I’ve seen it myself.
I’ve had the opposite experience, unfortunately. If I go out in the middle of nowhere and kill something entirely on my own then I get 3k+ experience, but if I kill anything that’s being piled on by other people in the invasion (demons in stage 1, for example) they are all maybe 300 XP. I haven’t been in a party since…
Unfortunately, the mob XP gets severely nerfed if another person tags the mobs. So now it just encourages people to run around soloing instead of fighting together. So this is disappointing. Unless they fix that, I don’t see this as much as a replacement for what we had last week. You now have two put in 3 times as…
I actually heard about that about a half hour ago but haven’t tried it. Is the buff that significant?
They just heavily nerfed it today, people are not pleased.
So many dubs with Johnny Yong Bosch just Johnny Yong Bosching all over the place.
Where’s your source? I’m not seeing this anywhere else.
Well, obviously, so you can actually limit it. Tough to do that if you’re not part of whatever group makes the decisions. Furthermore, Libertarians aren’t for completely destroying the government. Well, the anarchists are, but they’re pretty niche.
They’re probably thin-skinned not because they can’t appreciate a good joke, but because you’re blatantly using ‘humor’ as a way to dismiss their opinions. People tend not to react very well to that.
I’m not sure this is exactly what you mean, but I never really buy the argument that you can’t criticize something you couldn’t create yourself. If you put something out there to entertain people, they don’t need to understand advanced game design to point out what isn’t entertaining. That said, the internet being…
Hey, I love Fallout 4. I get nothing but concerned friends and family asking me why I have so many hours into it on Steam, and that maybe I should take a break. I tell them I can quit whenever I damn want.
