Whoa, thought that was an odd-looking seaplane on the cover photo... but the planes in the video definitely aren’t meant to float...

Nobody has been KILLED over the “Piss Christ” (look it up), far as I know. We Christians get made fun of all the time, and yeah, we get angry. We DON’T turn into bloodthirsty savages over STUPID CARTOONS.
SWG was a Star Wars MMO back in 2003. REALLY long story short, it started out cool, and got better with the Jump To Lightspeed expansion, but Sony made a lot of big changes with later updates that eventually killed the game.
I sure hope so. I miss Star Wars Galaxies- the way it was in the Jump To Lightspeed era. You were basically living as an extra in the original trilogy, and it just felt so GOOD. You could play either side or no side, on the ground and in space. Would be nice to see a (good) updated take on that.
Far as I’m concerned, a cheat kill doesn’t count. So it was 1-0 in Hairy’s favor.
After Blood Dragon, I’d be so down for that.
I’ve had some issues (connecting to Online, seeing loaded freeroam sessions suddenly turn into solo runs), but I wouldn’t call it awful. And since I never played on the consoles, I’m not sure how many of the issues I’ve had (no option to retry connection, it just kicks you to SP; not being told the mission I joined is…
In general, not as a whole. Some of us try not to be jerks, but we get drowned out by the vitriol. It’s mostly just that being nice tends to be a quieter way of life, whereas the angry types are shouting/capslocking at the tops of their lungs/fingers.
See, there’s two kinds of “trolls.” One is what’s mentioned above - basically a prankster, but with some sly wit. Everyone laughs at their mischievousness (once they finally realize what’s afoot), and if someone is offended, the “troll” has the decency to apologize and change tactics. One of my best friends is this…
If these people really are for “ethics in gaming journalism” or whatever, I don’t get why they don’t just pick a new hashtag. Would be a simple way to drop the stigma (and maybe shake off some of the idiots who earned them that stigma) if they REALLY care about what they SAY they care about.
Same thing bugged me about LoL, too- who wants to play the same map, every match? Was a shame, too, cuz I remember some fun ARAM matches on Howling Abyss... but everyone just wanted to play Rift.
Yeah, can the industry start worrying less about selling this or that console and worry more about the games and gamers? The Souls-type games aren’t my thing, but other titles like Uncharted and Last Of Us... I’m not wasting several hundred dollars to play a select few games that AREN’T available for PC.
"... you should deal with your being an asshole, and fix it."
I'd be happy to see my tax money go towards punishing madness like this. That's what government is SUPPOSED to be for- to protect the people.
Telling them to close the blinds and go outside and shout crap like that? And with a building full of people on top of that? They've evolved (devolved?) from "pranks" to attempted murder and terrorism. These situations need to start being treated like the life-threatening crimes they are. Put some fear into these…
Aw, they didn't show Just Cause 2. You could pull the minigun turrets off their mounts and trade maneuverability for a bullet hose in a pinch.
Yeah, that's the key, tho. I went into one of the conflict zones in Lugh the other day. First run was a blast, made about 100k, but then I took a break to hand in combat bonds and eat lunch.
A Type-6 isn't a goal. It's the means to other goals. It pays for itself in a day or two of trading, then starts paying for other, cooler stuff.
No, you do hafta go back to whatever station your ships are stored at. So it's best to pick a job and commit to it for a while before going back and changing ships.
My main problem with IV was how it contrasted with the game before it. San Andreas was a lunatic romp through three cities and the countryside/desert between them. I did like the map in IV, but it was so... grey and dreary, in both color and mood. They took away a lot of SA's cool toys and colorful people.
