Letting people pre-order stuff that hasn't been announced isn't really all that bad. Everyone knows it's coming, so why not go ahead and start the process? What does it hurt? They were going to be doing it, anyway, so what does it matter WHEN they do it?
That's what I figured. It's about time, though. Microsoft had this years ago and I never could figure out why Sony didn't.... It's nice seeing something online, buying it, and it being ready to play when I get home.
Agreed. As cheap as flash memory is, if could have a few GB's in there to do SOMETHING with.
I was thinking the same thing... Strange.
I hate that stuff like this is already out. 2012 isn't over yet. What if a new song releases tomorrow and races to the #1 spot by the end of the year? Unlikely? Yes. Possible? Also, yes.
I would gladly pay a few bucks each month to get a handful of channels that I'd actually watch.
I have an app on my iPhone that shows me what's on TV. I'd image a similar app on Apple's TV and when you selected a show, it would open the corresponding 'app' (channel). That's just me, though.
That seems like a joke (if it's not, I'm sorry), but is just as likely as any other 'reason' for us being here. I know if I were a god and could control things like that, I'd have some weird shit floating around out there, too... Just to see what happens. Why not?
This is fun! WEEEE!!
You're correct. The way the article is worded, Samsung's proprietary software is okay to have, but Android's default photo gallery viewer (for 2.2.1 and later) is infringing upon Apple's patent(s).
They scan the special QR code and get all your details on their screen (hey might check your ID, too, but I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet) and let you pass.
Can you 'Open in Vimeo' like you can do with YouTube?
