This one beautifully captures the feeling of loss, despair, and frustration at losing a contact lens in a field of weeds.

While that is super bad-ass I don't understand a kickstarter that has absolutely no benefit to the contributor. Even the potato salad kickstarter at least had the humour aspect. This is just some dude asking for money so he can contribute to his own "garage-ist" hobby.

Oh yay, it's today's mandatory article about men being assholes in every form of media and women being victims in everything.

Except for the fact that it's only 40 hours a week at most. Among a million other fucking things.

Sure, you're looking for comedy. and honestly, the person who created the original render probably was too, but the problem I'm having with it is that people are treating this drawing as an actual problem, rather than looking towards things which are actual problems.

My mom was a little girl in Japan during WW2. One side of her family was from Hiroshima. She has a sister that was an infant there during the bomb and survived (and is still alive, unlike my mom who died of cancer a while back). The "bursting through doors" sound effect really cracked me up.

yeah, i hear what you're saying, but i guess i just disagree that the art direction is a factor at all, that it indicates in any way that the story of the game will be one sided. i'm sure the art direction makes sense if you understand the story, but there're a lot of ways for something to make sense. you're right

i agree that it'd be great it they could get first hand accounts from civilians in the invaded countries, but, like you said, that's a little more difficult than u.s. soldiers and the budget for this game... well, i'm not sure they even have a budget.

Hi there, I'm one of the developers of The Sun Also Rises. I really appreciate your thoughts on this, It's a huge focus for me and the team to exhaustively research and interview people from the countries and regions that we're basing the game in, and I hope we can win you over once we can give more details about
