"The team in our Quebec studio has been hard at work on the particular game in question for the past few years"

Wasn't that just assassin's creed with cell phones?

I still don't get how it is "price gouging" customers when the app makes you TRIPLE CONFIRM the peak time rates before allowing you to book a ride.

I don't see what is THAT funny... unless the guy is on shrooms? And kudos for this hard hitting informative article.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHERE TO GO WITHOUT A CORRIDOR TO GUIDE ME.

This makes me wonder if anyone will ever bring the Descent IP back.

What is the well defined path? I'm still not quite sure what they are going with in that game... besides a cool looking proceduraly generated tour of the galaxy,

Im kind of confused as to what direction they are going with for the aesthetics... but at least it's not bikini armor.

Who is besides Jason Schreier? Us mere mortals can only aspire.

i think someone else said it, not a single fuck is given outside the (way too hardcore) gaming community.

I actually haven't touched it in 6 weeks.

so now itll be world war 2... then modern warfare... then it will skip back sbortly for black ops in Vietnam... then futore soldier with exosuits! I kinda gave up on the series half way through Three (i got bored with Etzio halfway through his second game). I was just tired of the old time period. World war two sounds

You seem alright yourself. High 5's all around ;)

Now if they only stop pissing around and just make a FF7 HD remake... I'll forgive them for FF13 and its sequels.

I misread "exchanged words" as "exchanged swords" for a second and momentarily thought this story was much cooler than it actually was.

It's great from the poibt of view that he was doing it to have an interesting story to write. But why would anyone else get a game that they were going to stop themselves playing forever if they died once? I play games to get away from rules of reality, not to have them imposed in virtual space too :)

And still has that shitty attitude even as he tries to do the right thing. Do indie developers have to give up social skills in order to work on games?

Ah, I see. Thank you for clearing that up :)

I figured that part, but do the folks that started the kickstarter just keep the money?
