Yeah, but likewise for the retailers. If Xbox Ones were flying off their shelves, surely they wouldn't need to do promotions like this? We're not seeing the retailers do this with PS4.

Nope, HDMI supports 60FPS. Have so since the beginning. HDMI is various different specs that get better over the years, 1.3 for example added 3D playback and that's why you need a newer cable, where you might be getting confused is that HDMI 1.4 can't do 4K at 60FPS only 30FPS (HDMI 2.0 can though). 1080p at 60FPS is…
Because it really shouldn't cost more than a PS4. That's the only implication I made, and it wasn't even to start fanboy drama (like you are).
Yes, because we're not seeing it.
There are no price cuts, and these deals are coming from the retailers, not from Microsoft. That being said, as far as Microsoft is concerned, the Xbox One will never be "selling well" until it outsells the PS4.
Uh, no. I'm looking on the website, and it's $450. Adding in a free year of XBL doesn't "effectively bring the price down to $399" if it still costs $450, unless I'm missing something here.
Not even the 3DS had fire sales this early on. I thought I was saving $50 by getting it before Amazon started collecting sales tax in my state, but damn... early adopters can`t help but feel a little butt hurt over this.
Who the fuck was talking about Sony? Get out of here with your fanboy shit.
it's like the two of you are dancing the deal tango.
Oh I duuno...Maybe because Sony isn't a PC game manufacturer....They make games for their platform, not multiplats.
The co-op in Resistance 2 was phenomenal, some of the best I ever played. The way they implemented the classes was so much fun. Not many games let you be a medic anymore.
Never understood why Sony didn't port this series to the PC. Its a natural.
Resistance was one of the highlights of last gen... The second dipped in quality but the first and third were outstanding games to play, the stories especially. I'd normally say who cares about multiplayer, but the second game did have a pretty neat co op MP mode with classes that will make getting it's platinum…
At least they still have the discs and can play the single player whenever they want, so that's a win.
Woah. Least memorable shooter franchise? I think not, Mr.Fahey. The Resistance series is one of my most cherished memories from last gen. I distinctly remember enjoying all of the games down to the ones made for PSP and Vita. This series will always live on as one of my most enjoyable series of last gen.
Wait even the coop won't be playable online? The fuck. I just had to buy an online pass for the game like a month ago to play it. The least they could've done was made that free.
RIP. Resistance 2 had an incredibly good and addicting 8-player online co-op. That's the one game in the series that got me hooked to playing online. It's a shame that the sequel didn't bring back this feature. I don't know if I have time to give it a proper farewell though. Too busy with other games these days.
