Oh it very much is.
Oh it very much is.
One game is open world where you can fly and run up walls and the other... well not so much. One renders way more at a time at a higher resolution. I think infamous wins.
i agree. i was just starting out 2nd son and was in the cutscene where delsin is talking with his aunt betty at the hospital...can somebody tell me is that pre-rendered...because it looks too good to be real time...the skin and facial animation of aunt betty on that scene is uncanny. Ryse looks good (from video…
its much better than ryse for 900p vs 1080p alone... not to mention it holds a more steady framerate with a higher res.
By complaining about him pointing out xbox one is objectively the weaker system, you dont look objective
Not sure why you thought it necessary to dispute that part of the article. Ryse, a linear game, runs at 900p at sub 30fps with 100% prerendered cutscenes. I'd say It's a pretty wide margin when Infamous second son, an open world game, runs at 1080p 30-60fps and still ends up looking better.
Ryse was a garbage game that didn't even play in 1080p
I would definitely say that it is a wide margin. As somebody who has played both Infamous is really the best looking game I have seen to date as well across all platforms. Like they said the impressiveness of the textures is just unreal. Nothing is blurry and nothing looks bad even up close. The chaos and the particle…
Hehe.. Fair enough.. I have played it. To completion. I own an X1 along with Titanfall, Ryse, Dead Rising 3, Forza, Battlefield 4, and of course, Peggle 2. I tend to buy all consoles as I am a game programmer for a living :) Check out my gamertag if you don't believe me: "nakedeyes"
It is still a great looking game.…
Ryse is definitely a very pretty game, but it has nowhere near as many characters on screen, or environments as detailed and open. The beauty of Infamous is that it's able to exceed Ryse's graphical wow-factor at the same time as providing a huge open world environment rather than Ryse's corridors and small arenas.
Like this...
Ryse was also a corridor game where you could only go in certain areas, thus reducing the amount of "stuff" the game has to render.
It is better than Ryse in so many ways above obvious stuff like resolution. Dynamic lighting is the first part...second it is open world. Much more impressive achievement in my book.
Owning both consoles and both games, playing them on the same 60" TV, I highly disagree.
Its very relevant, resolution is directly related to the topic at hand. Graphics.
How Infamous: Second Son Manages To Look So Good
It plays on the superior of the two consoles.
Looks AMAZING. I always have loved looking around vehicles in games, even if the textures are low res, and this game looks beautiful... Excited for it. Project Morpheus headset also looks quite sleek and modern, very cool.
At least we'll have an alternative to the OcuBook with just the gaming focus I just hope Sony bring this thing at a decent price otherwise FB will kill it with a more affordable version and more open seen Morpheus will only work with PS4
This would be the thing that could make me get Project Cars. I'm quite excited for Project Morpheus.
