Technically this shape (a rectangle with semicircles on opposite sides) is known as a discorectangle, obround, or stadium, which is a type of oval.

I believe the officer was quoted as saying “I swear, I thought he was black!”

Suzuki Jimny Lite! It’s as basic 4X4 get in 2021

Kinja doesn’t work on iPad. It logs me out. I log back in, go to another page, I’m logged out. I log back in, go to comment, can’t hit Publish because it thinks I’m logged out. So basically, I don’t read any of these sites on my iPad.

I have not been able to use Kinja very effectively on my phone for years. Articles keep jumping up and down in the scrolling before crashing. Three years ago I could comment or like posts, but a phone update killed that, and I can’t get that account back, even when creating a new account. After too many hours, I gave

I think it’s a metaphor for the G/O sites, in general.

I was going to start with the “This is fine” meme, but kinja has always been borked. It gets more borked every day and everyone knows it. This is really a test to see where the limit is where everyone actually gives up and leaves. In which case, we should go with the “The limit does not exist” meme.

Every time I try to click on a reply to one of my posts, I need to search through the whole string of other story replies, find my reply, then open up the replies to my reply.

I hate to be “that guy” especially since I drive the Ford equivalent of it, but I think it’s the WRX STI. It’s an awesome car and I love seeing them on the road don’t get me wrong... but it hasn’t fundamentally changed since they introduced it in 2004 and its value prop in that time has gone down because of it. The fuck ? Are your land cruisers made of solid gold ???

No one said Tesla? The cars run well, but for and finish is terrible. Model S and X are 6 figure cars, and even with almost 10 years of building, they still don’t have production down. Pair that with $50-60k model 3 and Y where bumpers fall off the in rain and roofs fly off on the highway. Even overpriced trucks keep

An $80,000 Jeep Wrangler. Like WTF?!

It’s all relative. The absolute top of the line Charger back then was ~$45k. $45k gets you a mid-pack one today.

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) were deleted.

Just like the high output muscle cars of the 60's and 70's, these will surely become collectors items. I’d love to hold onto a 3rd gen viper forever.

I guess what I didn’t make clear with what I was saying was that the car shouldn’t be able to operate on only one system. When either system goes out, the remaining system should only serve to pull the car to the side of the road where the car or owner could call for service. That would help prevent poorly maintained

I think the answer is easier than you make it out to be. There should be enough redundancy that if one system goes out the vehicle can pull off the road safely. These systems need to be extremely reliable as to almost never go out. This is why lidar is important and cameras don’t work. Lidar isn’t as prohibitively

YESS!!! The Vermont Loophole! We just went through the process of getting our bus registered in The Peoples Republic of Texas (where you are only free to own guns and pollute... everything else is regulated to the point of stupidity) who are in the middle of changing registration processes. They made the old processes

The older I get, the less and less I care about helmet laws. Speaking as someone who doesn’t ride a bike, but might need a transplant in the next few years.

It looks like the tantrum than spawned it.
