This makes sense... For a Miata! We take a good naturally aspirated v6 engine which is adjusted to make peak hp set at 300 (say a vq35 or j35). That is the correct tq/lbm(weight in lb mass), and the correct hp/drag (drag=cd*frontal area). All cars will be judged based on these 2 ratios using the Miata standard.
