It really isn’t noticeable. A normal bike isn’t really balanced laterally anyway. You’ve got brakes to one side, drivetrain to the other, asymmetric swingarms on a lot of bikes, etc.

It actually works pretty well. They use needle bearings on machined flat faces on the upper part of the stantion.

Honestly, I think a part of the reason that America is going after FIFA is precisely because we don’t like soccer that much. Places that are more into soccer are more willing to turn a blind eye, even subconsciously, because of their attachment to the game.
