So, is your point that we can call it progress once she (or another female coach) is given a second chance after failing, rather than having the notion of hiring a woman as a coach be written off if she isn’t a resounding success from day 1?

If I’m reading you correctly, that’s some serious letting perfect be the enemy

Getting rehired pretty much, by definition, requires getting hired first.

No shit. Worst refereeing I’ve ever seen.

I recently spent a flight from Seattle to Amsterdam throwing up non stop, with what I can only assume was food poisoning. I got it all in the toilet though. I felt fine when we were boarding, then like 20 minutes after takeoff, the faucets opened and didn’t stop for about 7 hours. That was horrible.

My S4 needs an oil change. My M3 needs new brake pads.

I have actually owned a V70 before so yeah, I’m with you. The XC90 has it beat from an interior perspective though.

Okay, how about “If you’re looking for an SUV that isn’t laden with cheap plastic, fake wood, generic vinyl upholstery and all that other boring shit, the XC90 is the only option I can really think of that will spend less time in the shop than your driveway.

This. It’s not a car that I’d buy at this stage in my life (single, no family) but the interior is incredible.

I can only assume that that monologue exhausted his vocabulary.

I just bought a clean ‘99 black on black M3 coupe with 77k for $8500. I made out like a goddamn bandit.

Seriously. I came to post that I don’t think I could eat that many in 10 days, much less 10 minutes.

Collarbone, both wrists (left twice, both bones in the wrist both times with the left), left arm above the elbow, some toes, a couple fingers, a couple ribs.

Broken collarbones are the worst. I’ve broken more than a dozen bones and the collarbone was by far the most painful and hardest to recover from.

I’ve seen a few of these in Japan. They are a really, really good looking car in person.

Maybe, but aren’t the fleet averages for CAFE weighted by number of units sold? If I’m remembering that correctly, they’ll have to sell a bunch for it to make any kind of difference. It seems like an expensive proposition to develop the hydrogen tech just to meet fleet emissions targets, particularly when they’re

I’m not convinced that this isn’t just a ruse to throw us all of the scent, so to speak.

My take is 100% driven by how much space there is free in the lot, and how close they park to the buildings or whatever that the lot serves. If you want to park at the back of an empty lot and take up two spaces just to be sure, cool. If you’re taking up two spaces in front of the building in a full lot, I don’t care

“not conceding a single blade of grass to their opponent”

I would make all the answers A, except for one incredibly easy one B, then fail every idiot who put A for that one.
