I am separating from the man whom many of you know as “Felipe” — the man whom I fell in love with at the end of the EAT PRAY LOVE journey.

Eat, Eat, Eat: A Memoir/Stomach ache

Based on interactions with my own mother, I’m guessing the conversation went something like this: “do you want to have your eggs implanted in my uterus after you die?”

but rather a size 8 or 10,

I was watching it regularly after Trevor Noah took over, hoping it would be good, and really tried to give it a chance to get better, but it’s just not as good and just makes me miss Jon Stewart. I’m glad that she’s getting the chance to be awesome on her own :)

🙌

I’m still sad Lord&Taylor didn’t catch on.

Still not worse than Trump 2016.

Oven roasting / sauteeing most veggies in a little olive oil, dash (very small dash) of salt, as much fresh pepper as your heart desires, and garlic is a great way to turn vegetables you otherwise might think taste like shit into something edible (and really tasty, actually).

She is an angel of rhinestone light.

If anyone wants to make a donation to support independent abortion clinics (like Whole Women’s Health, and the indies I worked at and research with), every dollar counts! Make a donation to celebrate today’s decision and to help clinics that had to close re-open their doors! https://www.abortioncarenetwork.org/donation

He told me he didn’t want children for at least 3 years. She must’ve been pregnant even before we filed for divorce. Honestly, based on the way we ended our relationship, I am glad it isn’t me. But it is so strange to see him living the life I wanted with him with someone else.

Both! When I got my first e-reader I kind of ignored printed books for a while but I took a temporary job in Lexington Kentucky last year and I was there for 6 months and I spent most of my down time in the winter at these two bookstores like 5 mins from my apartment. One was this amazing place call Joseph Beth

Don’t have kids. Don’t get married. Those two things will keep you stuck. BTDT.

Last time we moved, the mover told me I could have saved a lot of money if I got rid of some books.

I prefer regular books for a few things: the smell, the feeling, and for some reason I find it easier to keep track of my place in the story. BUT: my bookshelves are literally overflowing; books are stacked 2 and 3 deep on multiple shelves and I still don’t have room for all the books I own.

I’m in my mid-twenties and solidly pro-book. I have a Kindle, I tried it, but I found I couldn’t focus as much on e-text, and struggled to finish books. I need the tactile experience. You can borrow, exchange, and distribute books in a way that can’t be extended to e-books. I like the idea of passing them on if I want

So I’m 7 weeks pregnant and had my first ultrasound because of some obnoxious tailbone-area pain, and I can now say with certainty that I have the biggest ladyballs of them all.
