I think the delayed vaccine schedule is not as dangerous, because they ARE getting the vaccines.

I'm in CA. Little Doo has had all of her vaccinations, so I'm not entirely sure how it works, but from what I've read in the paper I believe the parents can sign some exemption form, maybe a religious exemption? I have to have a TB test every 4 years or so to even volunteer in the classroom.

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It sucks. One of my friends divorced two years ago and she's still convinced that her ex-husband might try to off her to get the alimony to stop.

No, I think it was cold. But it resulted in having to have the pool drained and cleaned, I believe.

Hitting people or damaging their stuff because they cheated on you can result in jail time for us regular folk. I despise that Carrie Underwood song "When He Cheats" or whatever it is for this same reason. Mama Doo spent the night in jail and has a felony conviction for dumping her boyfriend's stuff in the pool when

I used to record the show to watch it on my lunch hour. I stopped recording it after Jenny McCarthy joined, and the Twitter comments on the screen drove me nuts - I don't give a shit that Jane from Phoenix is so excited that X is on the show.

My great uncle had a job refilling vending machines. At Halloween, he used to give my grandmother boxes of full-size candy bars to hand out. You are awesome!

In my 20s, I said I didn't want kids because of how much work they are. I got married at 30, and went off birth control at the recommendation of a friend, and I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks along at 31. It wasn't until I was pregnant and then lost that baby that I really started to want a child.

I have a 4 month old who has woken up at 5:20 am the last three mornings. I'd love to just sleep in until breakfast, forget about brunch.

With my daughter, I took the childbirth class at the hospital. She was overdue and my blood pressure was rising, so my doctor scheduled me to be induced 3 days after my due date. I brought Propel and lollipops as suggested by the birthing instructor. Guess what? The nurses wouldn't let me get up and walk around in

I am jealous that your child is self-sufficient. If mine are up (6 and an infant), I'm up.

I am successful and career-oriented, and I do have the income to support myself. I even had enough to buy out my ex's share of the house 4 years ago when we divorced, to make the mortgage payments on my own for the last 4 years, and to have a second child via sperm donor this year (and make the child care payments

If you are close to someone with young children (under age 10), like nieces or nephews or your best friend's children, you could always borrow them for a weekend and see how you feel about caring for them full-time. I'm sure the parents would be thrilled to have a break! But as my dad always told me, "yours will be

I was seeing a female OB/GYN until I got pregnant; she did not deliver babies. My first choice would have been a woman (I generally try to find female doctors whenever I can), but my current male OB/GYN was recommended by the reproductive specialist I saw, he delivers babies, his office is located around the corner

I have the same problem. I'm 42, and my parents had me very young (19). My Dad turned 61 this year. I don't want to date someone closer to my father's (or mother's) age than to me.

The "vasectomy" option would work in their favor - at least you know they are taking responsibility for their bodies!

I'm 42. I'm generally looking for men within 5 years older/younger than I am. I don't understand the ones who say they don't want kids, or all their kids are over 18, but then they are looking for 20 year olds. But if they are just looking to screw around with a hot young lady who isn't interested in anything

The grossest thing I've ever seen was in one of the pet stores in the mall. One puppy was eating the poop as the other puppy in the cage was pooping. Nasty!

Have fun for a while, and then if you aren't successful, I highly recommend the LH strips which tell you when you're ovulating. You don't need a fancy kit - you can buy the strips off of Amazon pretty cheap, pee in a Dixie cup, and dip the strip. Tada, Little Doo was born 9 months later.

I don't remember reading any great pregnancy books. I had the "what to expect" book and referenced that sometimes. But my favorite baby reference book was "Baby 411". There's also a website www.mamapedia.com that I read all the time when my daughter was a newborn. You can search the questions. Chances are at
