I broke up with The Bachelor for Colton’s season because I thought he was such a terrible pick. On his home visit, he said that he his mommy had to nurse him back to health after his last breakup. It was described in such a way that was a major red flag. Combined with the pedestal he placed his virginity, this man was

Yeah, the biggest problem - as I see it - is that the cops who refuse to wear masks even when asked politely or shamed, are the same cops who are going to target POC for violations. I guarantee we will see photos/video of an unmasked cop ticketing a brown person for not wearing a mask.

So this woman looked at Rachel Dolezal and said hold my beer?

That is gross.  So gross.

Er, if my understanding of the gossip surrounding the show is correct (and it may not be), it’s easy to understand if you recognize the difference between what it purports to be, and what it actually is. What the show purports to be is a reality television show which helps to create conventionally attractive breeding

I think the bigger goal is not to win, but to make enough of a name for yourself as semi-famous to land valuable “influencer” deals afterward.

We don’t want this, in any way, to seem like, ‘Hey! Look what we did here!’

The Bachelorette definitely has always been a previous cast member, but before the Bachelorette was around and even a couple times after I think, the guys were basically just randos. Matt is not a rando to big time fans who have kept up with Tyler. I follow a couple facebook groups about the franchise and he’s

If we had a competent leader in the White House (and by “competent” I mean the vocabulary of a high school sophomore), no one would want to fuck Andrew Cuomo. We are in dire straits and very sad times when bare minimum is someone who sucks but happens to be able to string a sentence together. Le sigh.

This is gross. Also apparently quarantine/sheltering has clearly robbed people of standards. Andrew Cuomo is doing a relatively good job, but jfc, he’s still horrible.

That is really, really not a good look for him. He looks like he belongs in a particularly boring FMV game about, I dunno, mortgage insurance.

maybe i’m just stupid but i do not grasp how adding more voices to a message that clearly has not yet been heard is... bad?? i get annoyed that people pressure me to be married and if someone asked me about it i would talk about it too????? i dont understand this crime.

This is the ONLY soundtrack by Disney I own, bc those muses were the best stylist choice Disney ever made. Beautiful, soulful, funny, varied, and brought that shit home. I was like 10 when that movie came out and I wanted them to be my best friends. So, they better respect this bad ass ladies is what I’m saying.

I don’t think most commenters are even thinking that deeply about it.

I have seen exactly one episode of this season and Barbara wasn’t even on it, but I would totally agree with your assessment. If I had a child and they were dating an evangelical, I would also be concerned about how they might change.

The shitty thing is how many people on this board, who are nominally liberal, are saying that it would be “growth” for him to be with Madison! It would be regression against every value most of us on Jez support!

I think you’re right.

Is there an underlying reality here that Barb is fearful of Madi’s “values”as an Evangelical- i.e. doesn’t want her son to marry someone who potentially isn’t pro-choice, doesn’t support gay marriage, etc- and chose to not politicize this show, purposefully keeping her negative feedback very vague? Or am I giving Barb

This was my feeling. It has always stood out to me as potential for actual lgbt representation, but this is Disney so of course we can’t have that. Only drummed up “gay moments” that they trumpet at us. *sigh*

I think you're right. Pretty sure I heard about Li Shang being written out before #MeToo entered the public consciousness.
