You can do better, Katie. Even if you’re the type of person who works for Trump.

Why is this show “deeply problematic?” I am assuming it has to do with whiteness, as this is how white people code for “too many white people”

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen every episode of Friends at least twice, although I’m not entirely sure why. I loved the show as a teenager, but watching it again, it just seems very tired and laugh-track-y (yes, I know it was a studio audience, but it’s still kind of annoying). And yes, a lot of it doesn’t hold up very well

Biden and Sanders are just too damn old to be president. There, I’ve said it. Biden would be 78 when he is sworn in and Sanders would be 79. For arguably the most stressful aging job in the world. Unless they do it like Trump. And let me add that incumbency gives a candidate a huge advantage. We lose that with Biden

Two. TWO.

America: where “abortion is murder” and worthy of political activism but the actual murders of living, breathing children are met with political apathy at best.

Especially if the Bachelor turns out to be a dud, as often happens.

My son is 2 and a half. Yesterday they had a drill called “rabbits in the hole” where all the children hide silently around the classroom. I’ve been having a really hard time with it.

These drills are just a fact of life in schools now, the way recess or lunchtime or math class is. The two things I keep thinking about in regard to that:

Why am I so angry that Mike is not the bachelor? I mean, Peter is fine, he’s fine. But why would they chose him when Mike is sitting right there! One of the most charismatic, thoughtful, intelligent, accomplished, loving men they have ever had on any season. I mean, the man made a special visit to his grandma before

But America loves those pre-children clusters of cells!!

Bingo. They wanted someone “edgy” and “un-P.C.” to appeal to the kind of people who don’t even watch SNL (which is stupid to begin with), but they didn’t count on the blowback being so immediate and fierce.

Katie also needs to run. Chris is clearly messed up somehow.

I used to work for a company with offices in the UK and one of my colleagues over there was married to an American woman. They had two kids. I asked if he ever considered moving to the States and before I even finished the sentence he said “No. Guns.” And I was like “ ... Yeah.” Because, what can you say, really?

Seeing a bunch of former “Fitspo” accounts morph overnight into body positive accounts without changing their content has been funny to watch over the last few years.

Oh, you’re selling us short! We hate everyone except rich white men. Children are just one of the many, many groups meriting our loathing.

I have an 11-year-old and a 6-year-old. We left the US (for Canada) two years ago, and just relocated to Germany. A HUGE part of our reason for leaving is that I enjoy sending my children to school and not worrying about the threat of gun violence preventing their safe return home.

This is fucked up. I have two boys who are 8 and 11. My 8-year-old gets anxious about the drills, and I had to hold back tears when he told me his teacher was telling the class that she’s strong and “can fight” to protect them, and showed them an alternate exit. He then explained to me how he’d run from “the shooter

Never Forget: America hates its children.

Caelynn was also an asshole for lying about the nature of their relationship and she was never held accountable. Blake is a complete doofus but it’s not as though that was a totally one-sided situation.
