Um, the PS2 was WAY uglier than this.

Well, off my head, SP2 in Vista *shudders* added a bunch of "Windows Live" program tools and features. But I understand those getting lost in the general excitement of sp2 just making Vista less awful.

How do you guys see 8.1 any different from the service packs MS has pushed in the past? None of these required a fresh install and sometimes they added new features as well as fixes.

I love Windows 8 from a software, but felt that the UI was more novelty than function when it launched. Been using Start8 and loving it since it launched. These updates may just have me trying the Start Screen again.
