Yes, you can transfer from Xbox 360 to Ps4 or PC, or from PS3 to Xbone or PC. The only thing that doesn't transfer from one console family to another is is you have purchased in-game cash (Shark Cards).

They've said you'd be able to go from any old system to any new one. But then they also said we'd get heists a year ago...so we'll see.

It can only be done once and its from any previous gen to any current/next gen as per their original press release at least. I hope they are right cause i'm going from a 360 to a ps4

Actually your gta character and info is tied to your social club, not your gamertag/psn. so cross platform transfers worked for my boyfriend and I last night.

Last night i was able to transfer my ps3 character to xbox one so I think you should be good to go.

Excuse me, did you watch the video? Because it shows exactly what I said. And the same is true in every other comparison video for any PS4/XboxOne/PC game. And only if you have a high end computer. Really the biggest reason to get the PC version are the mods.

That's not quite analogous — if a company sold a shovel that didn't work terribly well, and maybe part of the handle came off, there's a chance it could continue to exist.
