I am the mother of a very tall daughter, I just kept a copy of her birth certificate in my purse when she was in this age range. Problem solved and I was (as an honest person) NEVER insulted if anyone asked for proof.

I was 14, cruising back roads with some of my GFs in one of their dads old style Ford pick ups on what we used to call a 4D session*. They handed me the keys, I took off (spinning gravel everywhere) and the rest is history.

Female here. I am no mechanic, but I will stop if I see a woman on the side of the road just to make sure she is ok, has someone coming/offer a ride/phone, and to stay with her until real help arrives, since I would be of zero practical help. I would probably stop if it was a man, but only if he appeared to be at least

Filters - Furnace and water.

Something that always helped me is to make sure that clothes are matched and set out the night before, so there is no decision making in the morning (i.e.-staring into the closet hoping something jumps out, ready to go). I still do this for myself, in fact. Every Sunday, I pull out 5 outfits, make sure they are ironed

For those of us without access to a company sponsored retirement savings plan, a super easy /no hassle way to set money aside is to split your direct deposited paycheck, which is generally free to do. Take a set amount out of each check and have payroll direct it to that account. You don’t have to even try to save

I keep replaying it over and over and I am frightening my co-workers with it.

If you have them on the southern side of your house, you have the best chance this time of year, but sometimes its still not enough, we just don’t the light. Even the shade of trees can interfere in summer.

I have given up on solar lights. Except for a few weeks in summer, we just don’t get enough sunlight to keep them powered, and they go dark entirely this time of year.

On the flip side (and one would think this would be obvious, but its not) on your work devices (phones, laptops, etc.) don’t use them for personal. I cant count the number of intimate/creeper pictures, messages and emails I have had to look at, document, download/copy and file for legal purposes from company owned

Reusable shopping bags are a wonderful, practical present, and come in all patterns and colors to make a lovely gift bag at Christmas, and are something that can be used all year, saving more bags in the future. (Locally at least, they are actually less expensive than a regular gift bag.)

If you feel like you absolutely MUST continue partying, crash someone else’s company party (because there are usually more than one of these things per venue at the same time this time of year). You can get trashed and be the talk of the party while not ruining your career, just make sure you don’t apply for a job

An update on your post - a group bringing Ms. Bennett back to Kent State to speak on November 19 is now suing the university for charging them an $1,800 security fee, after KSU just paid $65,000 for her last one.

I feel it helps, yes.

No worries, and I get it completely.l Here is what I do, before you go in, write down all the things you are feeling are wrong, symptoms, etc. I have found if they see you are serious enough to catalog it, (medications written down too) they take you more seriously. Dont let them talk down to you, you are paying for

See your physician, because it could be something simple, even an iron deficiency. Either way, if it started in September, it seems if it was going to clear itself up, it would have by now, so seek help. Only you can help you, don’t count on anyone else, because there is no one else that it is more important to. I

I suffer from SAD (and suffer is not too strong a word). I use a light box, take extra Vitamin D, and I cannot stress enough the importance of regular exercise. Remember you are not alone in having it happen to you, but you alone are responsible for your health, so do not be afraid to seek help.  Its there, just ask

Mighty sweet tune for a Monday.

Turn it around and find out who should die first: lawyer, politician, or televangelist. I would have a hard time picking, but I am thinking I would choose to mow down the televangelist, probably speeding up at the last moment to make SURE.
