My boyfriend is the one who loves baths and bath bombs, while I’m the one who cleans the tub... even non-bombed bath water leaves a ring with dead skin cells and other ick. I haven’t really noticed a difference in effort required to clean it, only the color of the ring.
He does pull his weight housework-wise, so I

They’re brown immigrants who speak with an accent and voted for Trump over this. There’s no reasoning with them.
I’ve known this guy for years and he’s come such a long way with regards to breaking out of that mindset, but even he admits his parents are a lost cause.

I have a friend whose parents are Catholic “one-issue” voters (and you can guess what that issue is, ugh). They honestly believe that those stories are made up by doctors to justify abortions. Neither personal experiences nor statistics will sway them when Catholic Sunday radio tells them otherwise.

Your local health department might be able to help you out with a free or at-cost vaccine. It’s worth looking into, but if not, just get up to date as soon as you’re covered. Even if you “double dose” with a shot you’ve had before, it won’t hurt you.

John Oliver covered this a few weeks ago. Apparently her spelling is as shoddy as her ethics.

It’s an opportunistic infection. You have millions of them on your skin and in your nasal passages now that aren’t causing issues- it’s when the immune system takes a hit that they grow out of control and become pathogenic. It’s not as simple as good vs. bad bacteria.

Thanks, Joe! (This is why I won’t be voting for you, among other reasons).

I have three jobs, none of which give me insurance. I aged out of being on my dad’s two years ago. The only plan I could afford was $400/month with a $6000 deductible, so I’d be out $14k, half my annual income, before they’d cover *anything*. I’m just praying that I can make it through the next year or two without

I don’t care for modern art, and I wouldn’t be super invested in the Guggenheim, but take me to a more science/history type museum and I am #1 all the way. My first date with my now-bf actually was to an outdoor nature center//museum type of place, and he’s still with me, despite my stopping during the zip-line route

36I and I agree with you. There was a sale at Bare Necessities over Black Friday and I had a gift card, which means I get to have more than 2 bras that fit me for the first time since high school. If I was an A-C, I wouldn’t have to pay $60 minimum for a bra that might not fit since they all have to be ordered online.

Here in FL, Publix has a deli with a cult following for “pub subs”. I’m a vegetarian, so my sub options are usually limited to a veggie wrap, but even those are miles better than Subway.

You’ll hate me- I leave them out on purpose, because I love stale Twizzlers (fresh are fine, sometimes I can’t wait for them to get hard if I was craving candy). I will eat them until my jaw gets too sore and then come back in a few hours.

I have a ring picked out on Etsy. It’s about $300 and looks like coral, and as a marine science educator, I love it. IDGAF about fancy expensive stones, but I like the tradition of a marker of commitment. I know my boyfriend and I’ll totally end up being the one who proposes, but I told him I will choose when and how

To be fair, her legal name is Olivia Gianulli (surname of Loughlin’s husband). Olivia Jade is what she goes by on Instagram and YouTube.

Are you allergic to crunchy?

Oh, that’s my pet peeve. I live in the 21st century and don’t carry filthy paper money, both for convenience and for not getting mugged reasons. If they don’t want my money in the form I’ve got, well, they’re not getting it.

I got these for my boyfriend when they were on Kickstarter, he absolutely loved them. They’re made from food that would be wasted otherwise and are crispy like a chip but with meat, veggies, and grains. I’m looking forward to seeing them in supermarkets, though not sure when they’ll be available
