I think that depends on their exposure to armchair experts in their field. I don’t offer up my first name if someone tries to educate me on something I’ve studied for 20 years because they read something on the internet or their yoga instructor gave them some medical advice.
Do you find that to be inversely correlated with experience?
Dan Jr. wasn’t there. It was Dan Sr (father) with Lil Danny Jr Jr (or whatever his name is... son). Grandpa took the kiddo for a hike. So yeah, Dan Jr. felt helpless (because he wasn’t there). Danny Jr. Jr. (his name is Eli I guess) called Dan Jr. during the rescue etc.
Indeed they do. Sometimes.
My kid wants to walk beside hers.
Tennessee.
Mine was.
I've bought a used Saab and noticed a Sewell Saab dealer sticker on the driver side window near the door locks (I didn't buy from Sewell Saab, I don't think it's been open for a while). I tried to get a fingernail under the edge of the sticker both from the inside and outside of the window before realizing that they…
How are they doing that crazy emergency stop at ~2:00 into the top video? It's like someone threw out an anchor.
There's a ton of them that camp out under the overpass at 610 W and Bissonnet crowding up the U-turn lane. Easy access to 610, 59, close to I-10, etc. It irrationally irritates me to see them all camped out under there.
It was the 12 stories tall part that caught my eye. If it is 12 stories tall, each story is 7.9'. I'd hate to live in that building.
I drive past Hennessey on my way from Houston to Austin and back. I always want to stop. I pulled them up on Google maps to see if they had their own drag strip (they do) and noticed that the Google has been inside as well with their street view stuff and you can essentially wander through the shop and sit in some of…
You're doing it wrong then.
That's how physicians are trained to deliver case studies: in detail (whether they are marginally relevant or extremely relevant).
This case study doesn't have to be a perfect match to illustrate a point.
There's a ton of development ongoing for animal models for CTE (mostly rodents due to the cost of larger animal models). I've seen a few groups using several repetitive mild/moderate injuries varying from a head-on impact to a skull mounted dowel to a rubber tip piston impact directly to the skull. None of these are…
There's a Skeeters next to the Chuck E Cheese just south of 59 at Wesleyan and Bissonnet. I've never been in there, but from the outside it looks like a sportsy Chiles or something.
I like Schramsbergs offerings. I ran across their Mirabelle on sale at Costco and thought I had struck gold. Midway through the third bottle I realized that I'd prefer even a Mumm brut rose over Mirabelle.
The priest was obviously "Ho Lee Fuk" while there was a little pilot "Wi Tu Lo" while the captain "Sum Ting Wong" watched followed by a guy who ding a "Bang" "Ding" "Ow" three stooges parody.
