I didn’t really like the first one, so I thought Ni No Kuni 2 was way better. Maybe a little too easy at times, but it never stopped being fun and in JRPGs that’s about as rare as hens teeth

I think it’s more accurate to say this game is a good example of eurojank, sure it’s notAAA but it has a definite european flavour

When I quest in games, I try to be as good as possible, and it’s not even for the reward like karma or something tangible like gold or equipment. I just want to see how my actions affects other people.

I see way more people defending Apple since EPIC is “owned by the CCP” and “filled with asian spyware”.

Let’s be real, they probably trade or sell user information with each other all the time, they have to if they want to wring every dollar they can from consumers. 

So because the Chinese government suppresses its people, we should blame those people for the actions of their government? 

What do the game developers have to do with the Chinese government? The devs are just trying to make a living and pay the bills just like everyone else.

It’s 2021. If there was a game about aliens invading, people would be upset if they couldn’t side with the poor misunderstood alien faction and genocide the human race.

What? Why would someone air fry something you’re not even supposed to deep fry? Anything with a big core is a no-no, the water inside will turn to steam and explode.

The actor was in Deadpool 2 and his character died before he could do anything, which is a nice contrast to this new role

Oh no. you just reminded me that I still have to beat Mana Khemia 1 and 2! They’re such good games, but they both have a couple areas where I get stuck underequipped and fighting bosses that lead to game overs...

I think Oreos are part of the culture though, originally Oreos didn’t sell so they changed the recipe so they’re not as sweet and there’s a ton of other weird flavours like BBQ Pork Oreos and Hot Chicken Wing Oreos. 

Chinese didn’t find the English dialogue racist, but the “translation” which was completely different made reference to an idiom about kneeling, which some people thought was making fun of China by referencing the “Century of Humiliation” where China had to kowtow to different foreign powers.

My city has weird bylaws like that, also one that states all vehicles on a property must have all their wheels, even if you can’t see the vehicle because it’s parked in a garage.

Chromatic Orb was such a weird spell, and can totally fly under your radar if you don’t really read spell descriptions. I remember using it as a last resort having used up all my other, higher, spell slots during a long fight... and Chromatic Orb instantly killed the thing causing me so much trouble.

Oh no, taking advantage of the consumer in order to deliver a better product. HOW WILL WE SURVIVE. 

I mean, if strategy surprises you try booting up Baldur’s Gate in 2020 and seeing how far you get with a wizard. Strategy’s always been a big part of the series, but now it’s turn-based instead of needing to press the spacebar every six seconds.
