I’ve been burned badly by Arcen games in the past... Even Last Federation, which I think was one of their better ones, was just too shallow of a game for me to be happy with buying.

I AM however, really looking forward to Stars Beyond Reach. Really really crossing my fingers for that one, but I definitely won’t be

Hm, let’s ask the Philippines to try that out for us. They’re already executing and assassinating all the drug dealers and users, so they’re halfway there already.

and the child answers with: “ugh, why do you have to use that old gamer slang. Nobody kleefing talks like that anymore. Jeez, you’re such a dartard”

They’ve restructured the expansions to require questing in order for quests in new zones to open up. I’m quite a fan of this, as levels are way way less of a deal now, and equipment/quests far more important.

Plus, it’s way more of a rush getting through a difficult quest-line and getting a cool blue weapon that stays

Dwarf fortress is also a game where I made roads paved with soap made from kittens...

Waaat! People don’t like the plot twist in SO3? It raised some interesting philosophical questions and made me question the nature of reality.

Strong monsters sometimes drop vital essence which functions the same as food. Health potions only restores health and not constitution (the health energy bar that drains to fill health). It’s a pretty clever system, but it doesn’t hamstring you too much because you can always return to town with your personal rift

Well, if you don’t shower or wash your face regularly it does get pretty dang shiny.

I work with about five Japanese people on working holiday visas, and I almost fell over when I realized that they actually do the whole “whahhhhhh” :0:0:0 face that I see all the time in anime.

Japanese culture is actually like this. They don’t “explain” their emotions like we do in the West, and instead show them or sound them out.

Personally, I think if the gameplay holds up, it’s not a crash grab but a legitimate purchase. All in the eye of the beholder I guess.

I thought XII was the worst. It looked nice, but there was NO character development at all, there was barely a plot and combat was a horrible parody of an MMO.

Settlers will jump into empty power armor during raids. They bug out afterwards though, and when they leave the power armor it just sort of hovers in the air and is unselectable. I have to restart the game for it to be usable again. :(

I only voted Liberal because the NDP platform of cautiously moving towards marijuana decriminalization.

It would take YEARS for the NDP to eventually legalize pot and it would still be a finable offence in the meanwhile, whereas the Liberals said straight up that they want to legalize, and soon.

We do, but we ignore them a whole lot more effectively because by and large, they aren’t urbanites and Canada is an urban country.

But they’re mostly rookies, rookies with mostly the right life experiences I think, but still political rookies.

You’d be missing out on the awesome fun that is PVP.

I had to sit at the table until I had eaten at least half of it. In the case of liver, that meant sitting at the dinner table for hours D:

Worked for me! I like liver now.

It’s true, even yaoi, or boys love, is geared towards women and features effimante men.

Did you finish Durance’s quest line? Amazing stuff! I hated him at first, thought he was too crass and way too ugly but after I finished it, I was like “Daayum Durance, I get you and I got your back bro.”
