Vote for me, my lies are better then the other guy’s lies! That’s not a great message if you’re goal is to convince other people to support you.

It’s illegal in the US to form worker’s councils like they have in Europe, it’s unions like the UAW or nothing.

One does not have to search hard for racial overtones.

Not all of the employees at the plant are eligible to join the union.

People were worse about tires in the 70's and earlier. Bias plys wore out faster than radials and many people wouldn’t even consider a tire worn out until it couldn’t hold air. We’re living in the golden age of car maintenance.

A hammer and sickle you say? Where were you on the night this happened?

There are no cars now? Sure.

Do you think we would have 30 MPG SUVs if not for CAFE?

Nope, just a weird van.

No, they weren’t built from scratch. They were standard models and sent to another facility to be upgraded. You can’t build classified aircraft on a commercial assembly line.

All the classified equipment would be retrofit at a secure facility anyway. I don’t think anything changes in the build process other than taking out the current interior.

If I was in the market for a couple of 747's I’d definitely take a look at those two. It seems like a smart business decision to me.

I think cab over, body on frame, or rwd should be automatic disqualifiers for calling something a minivan, they’re just regular old vans.

It’s not that FCA can’t make reliable vehicles, their reliability has improved considerably. The problem is that everyone else’s reliability is improving too and FCA is perpetually 5-10 years behind the curve.

So what you’re saying is that Tesla should start building cars in China? How is that different than building cars in Mexico?

Do you think Mexicans can’t buy anything or do you just feel they don’t deserve to be able to?

God forbid Mexicans improve their quality of life right?

That’s the perfect analogy for the UAW, a restaurant with bad servers.

Cash, grass, or ass. Nobody rides for free.

It’s not just about the cost, it’s difficult to buy Police/Fire lighting without official letterhead.
